I chose this kit firstly because it was on sale. The price was so good for what I had brought. The salons cheapest for gel nails are from £25 and I have made my money by using it once.I have used the kit and it works brilliantly.You do need to have time and patience to do this as it does take time but worth the results. Make sure you use small layers each time to get better results.It came with everything advertised.The colours in this kit are perfect and the glitter is nice and thick so cannot see nail underneath.Nothing negative to say. The product arrived earlier than it said it would too.

The media could not be loaded. So bought this kit as I moved and the nearest nail shop is a bit of a mission. I also can’t justify spending 30-35 plus tip every two weeks. So thought for summer I’ll try do my own gels.Got the kit on time and was really surprised how much you get for the money.It comes with a decent sized lamp with three time settings it worked perfectly.It also had all the accessories to shape nails and buff them etc. Even wipes to wipe of the sticky residue at the end.The colours are not all my cup of tea but seem decent and nice sized bottles.I did a nude pink for my first attempt and really happy with the finish. They seem to cure well and will hopefully last. Wasn’t rocket science I mean it’s not a manicure as such but defo better then nail polish which literally comes off after a day. I do love this kit it came with everything and I mean everything required so as a beginner it was perfect the only picky thing I have to say is the neutral colors are not the same shades as they appear on the advertised image they are lighter however I've hard a great time intermixing colours and effects with this kit I do find I have to bake them a bit longer I'm unsure if it's due to my application or the strength of the lamp but I am very thrilled with my purchase

This only just arrived today so I guess the real test as to how great it is, will be how long this evening's manicure lasts... But I have to say, on first impression... I am very very pleased.You get loads of tools for your nail prep and finish as well as a good selection of varnishes. The products all seem great quality and the nail varnish itself goes on smoothly and easily. It is thicker than a normal nail varnish but you would expect that to be the case, just take your time and apply thin coats (I did 2) and you'll be really pleased with the result.It does take longer than the 30-60 second cure time it suggests... I'd say maybe more 2.5 mins each round, but still, no time at all.I bought this as I love having my nails done and as awesome as my nail girl is, I just can't afford to keep going to her. If I try and do my nails with just normal varnish I end up smudging it within minutes and they look awful. This little set, so far, seems to be the perfect compromise for me.I'll come back with an edit on longevity

Lovey little lamp and the accessories are really useful especially the cuticle trimmer. However I’ve used this twice now and have had to exceed the suggested curing time by at least 3-4 mins ... it says 20/30 seconds but I have the nails were still not cured. Overall still worth it, cheaper and quicker than a trip to the nail salon, especially if you haven’t got a lot of time.8/10 due to extended curing time

I've been mulling over the idea of buying a kit for a few years. Go for a gel manicure a couple of times a year for a treat and love it, so when I had to cancel my long awaited Christmas manicure due to covid risks I was gutted and decided to spend the money on this instead. I am just so impressed that absolutely everything needed was included and nothing struck me as inferior for being so cheap - even the files were better than ones I've used at home before. Nice touches, nice selection of colours and sparkles for a starter kit. I've gone for the dark pink with glitter accent and look forward to using the French manicure and classic black in the future. Feeling like a pro with my flawless nails and it was enjoyable to do as well.

Wasted hours trying to make this work. The base coat is OK. The colours are thin and even 3 coats don't look like solid, opaque colour. The top coat is a joke. It's too thick, leaves streaks or runs and leaves bumps and it WILL NOT CURE. No matter how thin I try to make it, or how long I keep it under that lamp, it stays soft and tacky. It's absolutely awful. Asking for a refund.

Just for the record and in my defence I have never ever painted my nails before this set so had zero idea how to do it haha.. you can probably tell from the pictures!I’m 47 with arthritis in my hands as you can see. I work in retail so I rip boxes open, hail pallets about the warehouse but I also deal with my lovely customers and wanted to try and up the game with self grooming.This set is absolutely amazing, everything I needed! Simple, just base coat, cook, colour,cook, colour,cook, sparkle,cook,topcoat.cook! Takes about half an hour and I’m not the most patient person in the world so I think I’ve done well,The amount of goodies for the price is fab, the quality of the set is fab too! If you’re a learner like me this is fab!!
