They work!
I bought two of these in different sizes so I can make my husband's lunch in the morning and deliver it to him at work. It is still hot for him to eat around 1-2pm, when he likes to eat lunch. I wasn't sure how large the 1L size would be but it's perfect for a hearty lunch portion.I also bought the 2.5L size which I use for dinner. My children and husband come home at various times and they each eat from the hot pot whenever they get home. It sure beats leaving the stovetop on. It allows me to clean up fast and enjoy a clean kitchen for the rest of the evening, and I don't have to reheat the food which feels like leftovers. I'm going to buy more of these because they are working very well for our lifestyle and my dishes usually have more than one component that needs to stay hot. They are perfect for BBQs. Store food off the grill in these hot pots while you grill other stuff. Everything stays hot and you don't have to worry about flies landing on your food.Edited 7-4-14:I downgraded this product from 5 stars to 4 because the larger capacities do not work as well as the small ones. The small ones will hold temperature for 3-4 hours, but the bigger pots lose temperature much more rapidly - lasting only about 1-2 hours depending on what you have put in them.

Matbah insulated, keep food warm, casserole/hot pot
Received this product very neatly packaged with bubble wrap and the quality is great unlike the cheap plastic ones. On the product page on Amazon it says 'Butterfly India' but it doesn't say 'Butterfly' word or the symbol anywhere on the box or on the product itself. I got a similar 'Butterfly' brand bigger one from India and this looks exactly of same quality and construction except the one I got has a butterfly figure/symbol on the bottom but this doesn't, that said not sure if this is sister company or so and of course, that doesn't worry me at all as the product itself is shows the quality.will post an update later with its performance.Edit -Update : used it to keep the breakfast (8 regular size Idlies, south Indian rice and lentil batter steamed in Idly plates)and after 30minutes, the items in it were hot. will see if try something for long time. Satisfied at this time.

Small, but works for me!
I like this product, in fact love this casserole. It is cute, really. It is small for my rotis so I fold them and keep them inside.. because I have to fold them it does not always retain the true softness of my rotis. But, the size in liter/quart is not something I read well with the breadth and height of a utensil.. one can only guess. So when I bought it I took the risk with the size. I don't store anything other than the rotis, so far it does its job: stores it well, keeps it hot. So I like it.I would have liked some relative pictures of the image.. the casserole kept next to a microwave or sink or something which could indicate the size of the casserole in a kitchen, if not entirely accurate. But well.. I must admit I am happy with this one. It is the cutest addition to my kitchen utensils.

Works exceptionally well for my purpose
I have only used this for one purpose - to make yogurt. I don't have a pilot light in my stove and all the other typical methods weren't working during the cold winter months. Enter this insulated casserole dish. I warm it with hot water, add my 110 degree inoculated milk, cover and put in the oven - just because it won't get bothered there. It works perfectly every time. At the two hour mark, the temperature is about 105 - so only a 5 degree loss in 2 hours. After 4 hours, it's usually around 100 degrees.I will definitely use this when people come over, too. How nice to put the rice in this and get it on the table, for example, and not worry about it becoming cold.

Love it!
This insulated pot keeps hot foods really hot. For example, I placed cooked rice in the bowl, covered it, and did not serve it for an hour and a half. When I lifted the lid, steam rose! The rice was piping hot. I have also taken this bowl to pot luck dinners and served hot food while others had luke warm servings. I would recommend this highly. As a note, both the lid and pot must be hand washed. I recently purchased this pot as a gift as I know it will be appreciated.

Best of the hot pots I have seen so far
Best of the hot pots I have seen so far. I say that because no plastic touches food and is presentable on the table for a formal meal. Food stays hot/warm. But if someone comes up with decent stainless steel inside-out hot pots with locking mechanism (click tight or screw cap) rather than this cookie jar style, I would replace all my current ones with those.

Nice Pan!
Just received this pan so haven't used it yet. Right now, I am happy. You can tell it is insulated well. The size is right for what I need it for. Great size to transport side dishes, vegetables.potatoes etc. you could put a small casserole in it but not anything huge. I washed it and it did not leave many water marks on it. It has a shiny surface. Nice Pan! Do not know how long it will keep food hot. May update later.

Nice 'Stay Warm' Server
I bought two of these servers for our 5th wheel. They worked very well and kept the food warm until we were all ready to sit down to eat. I only wish they had a cover 'lock' like my other keep warm servers in case I wanted to transport food to another location. I would recommend them to others.

Pretty decent food warmer for the price!
Pros: Stainless steel construction and easy to wash/clean up. Does keep food warm but not 4 hours, more like 1 hour.Cons: Lid is not a locking lid. If it had locking lid it would probably hold food warm for 4 hours. May need to redesign product. All in all it is good for barbequed food which will be consumed pretty quickly and I do like the fact it cleans easily.
