Exactly what I needed. Works exactly like you want. Quality is exactly what you want. Cheaper than most setups like this. But quality is five star.

I ordered this specifically because it was the most affordable option for a USB-C hub that also allowed charging through it, and was extremely disappointed to find out it did not. I bought this to go with a stand to allow for wired controller use on my Nintendo Switch while in tablet mode, and it doesn't provide what I need.

Great build quality, but triggered a "USB Accessories Disabled..." warning on my 2018 Macbook Air that completely disabled the hub. No charging functionality, no USB functionality, no nothing. Might be worth a gamble, but I'm buying something higher quality after I return this.
