EK-Quantum Velocity² Direct Die D-RGB - AMD Ryzen Special Edition is specifically designed for AMD AM5 socket and Ryzen 7000 CPU (including X3D models). This product uses a custom designed cooling engine optimized only for AM5 direct die cooling. Cold plate contact surface is designed with protrusions that perfectly match the CPU chiplet and I/O die. IHS need to be removed and is a process commonly called shellcracking. This CPU water block is EK-Matrix7 compliant.
