BC Precision Five (5) Pounds Walnut Shell Tumbling Media for Brass and Metal Cleaning & Polishing

I bought these to use for my pin cushions that I make. They worked great. They were the perfect consistency and weight. Best of all the price was the best from anywhere that I had seen so that is why I bought the large box. I also figured if I didn't like it I could get my money back because of the guarantee. Well.... I didn't ask for my money back but I did get more procduct. ALOT more. Love the product and the customer service. You can't go wrong.

Not all Walnut Media is created equal. Some is too coarse, some too fine. This stuff, just like Goldilocks's Porridge, is just right. As Jerry Jeff said "right down the middle".Plus, as an added bonus, this media has no bias. It cleans Korean made brass, American made Brass, Eastern European made brass, and even Russian made brass equally well without comment or complaint.My only complaint is that I had to pay for it. This is the USA and the media should be free.

The Walnut in this product is pretty coarse compared to my previous batch from my local reloader store which was a house brand. I think for the size and coarseness of the media it cleaned my range brass faster I'd say at about 1 hour in a tumbler it looked good. The Polish isn't as great as my previous Walnut product but then gain that was finer but took longer.

First time usyng a tumbler for anything but was impressed on how well they polished up the dull look of my nuts and bolts from my generator project restoration. It wont take off paint or heavy rust but did a goog job for what I needed.

Using this to tumble small (less than 2-inch) stones with a Mohs hardness of 3-5, works great with the 500 AO grit.
