Singing Machine STVG785BK Karaoke Machine - Black

This thing is the dogs do dahs.I got it for my 8 year old daughter, I paid extra to have the one with a screen included so I wouldn't have to have the machine at in my lounge, plugged into the telly... In the way and in hearing distance. This was a mistake. She won't let me have it in the lounge to play with it. It is so so so much fun. I hate karaoke, loath karaoke... But actually, when you're in your own home and only the kids have to put up with your awful noise is the best fun ever. I don't care, no one can hear me, no one knows I'm actually trying my hardest and still crap. It's so liberating!I took it to a party at new year's and wow, was that fun? It turns out everyone is crap but only I have the film to show how crap everyone else is. Now I have the best blackmail material on the world.Get an extra microphone, get lots of karaoke specific CDs. The daughter loves it and it encourages her to read but that's not the point. The main point is I paid for it so she should let me have it in the lounge at all times.

Bought this for my 5 year old granddaughter it was delivered on time and the packaging was great , although we thought she was to young for this yet we were thinking long term she should get lots of fun with all the family joining in and also on her own she sings away and is learning the written words while she is doing it great sound and great fun for adults and kids alike

Singing machine is fantastic for my son, but my plan to by headphones with it so i could have peace and quiet went down the drain as the line 1 for the headphones doesnt work!!! Although great christmas present, son hasnt gotten of it and it does play other music as well as karaoke music :)

Ok so having read reviews pre purchase I was sceptical about size quality etc but am pleasantly suprised and 7 yr. Old daughter loves it .i thought she might be able to plug ipod into it as it has usb but didnt work then realised this was for recording to usb and I then guess playing back ..so today's challenge is to download some tunes onto a memory stick thing and see if they play . The machine DOES support any karaoke CD but not the DVD ones ..Yes definatley records to usb currently listening to my self singing mamma mia BADLY !!

Arrived quickly,adequately packaged but for the money quite cheaply made,does work but nothing special very cheap backing on the machine and disc lid very clicky and clunky to open,stop button temperamental and the sound from the mic is not great only really audible if your mouth is literally on top of it. As for the autotuning function can't notice it does anything at all, its volume for music is quite loud surprisingly but with the cheap quality not sure how long this machine would sustain it without packing up we will see.OK but not worth the money they charge.

UPDATE. -Aug 2016 Still not working on one mic port, NOBODY has contacted me. Rubbish service from company.Dec 2015 Bought for Christmas, not very pleased as upon Christmas Day, tried to play it and the microphone connector on the unit is not working, I see they have no more in stock and no idea when more will come in, ideally would like a replacement as everybody loved it. Fantastic buy though. Can someone please contact me from customer service regarding this item. Thank you

Brought as a Christmas present so will see the reaction then, have tried it out and all seems fine, hopefully the recipient will be overjoyed
