Needed to make my hiking sticks sidewalk friendly after hip surgery
I had a nice pair of hiking sticks that have gone on many, many hikes. After hip surgery they recommended trying the poles instead of a cane. But I knew the metal tips would never work on a sidewalk, not when I needed more traction and stability. These fit the need perfectly.

Very short life, start wearing down immediately and disintegrate fast.
Great fit and function. Poor wear. All the ones I have purchased last only a few months. I walk almost exclusively on paved surfaces and do so for at least 90 minutes every day. I otherwise do not require the cane so I can get a very accurate read on how long it is before the tips have to be replaced.These are so expensive that I am going to try a knock off brand where you can get four tips for the price of this one to see if they will work/fit/function acceptably or not.Leki makes good products even if their customer service leaves a lot to be desired and it seems that the manufacture of goods isn't consistently at a high level.

They do the job with no complaints!
I use these on my Lekki poles while walking up to 2.5 miles on cement sidewalks. At 85 years old that is what I am reduced to! I have 13,000+ miles of hiking experience and this is a good product
