I now sleep 8 to 10 hours!
The sound it emits is in a range below what humans can hear, BUT, my sleep has greatly improved because of it. I sit it on my headboard above my head with an inch or so sticking over. For someone that has only gotten average 3 to 5 hours of sleep, THIS is a Godsend!

Know the output style
Nice. I was hoping for a infinite sweep system instead of discrete steps. They both have there place.

Mini DDS Signal Generator,1Hz-500kHz Waveform Generator Signal Source with 7.83Hz Schumann Resonator
Been awhile since I messed with signal generators or any of it. I did the Schumann Resonator antenna part and tried it to see if anything could be detected as some have sworn by it's ability to make you feel better. I didn't feel anything. Also the rest of it, with very little documentation coming WITH the product you just have to guess how to operate it. I have been in tech industry for over 45 years and have a MS in CS but still we didn't cover this much. :DI will keep trying with it, but not really easy to use, and the functionality is questionable. I can't say anything about the accuracy of it. I mean it's small and portable type of thing but it's just a whatchamacallit. Perhaps I can detect some ghosts.. oh wait different machine fo that.If you know what are you doing give it a try the price isn't bad but not sure it's worth it. So it lost a star because of it. This thing could be a placebo device and doesn't do anything. I have a buddy that I can try to let test it in due time and eventually I will know. So that's my story and I am sticking to it. If manage to feel something and or hear something or whatever I will update the review to reflect that!

Don’t buy from this company
The media could not be loaded. I won’t give a nice review since device didn’t even longer a week when the item was defected, display light is on but no letters are showing… seller will not help .. !!Be careful don’t buy from this seller or this store !!

It seems to be working
Since I can’t hear the frequency being emitted, i decided to try out an app that is a spectrum analyzer, and upon holding the coil up to my device, it read the frequency that I had dialed in. Different modes give different intensities of that signal (e.g: Sine, Sawtooth, etc.) The strongest reading was detected using Half-wave and Lorenz modes.

Works well as a simple function generator in the electronics lab
I am using this in my personal electronics lab as a low-lost signal generator when the bench top generator is either overkill or already in use. For that it functions well and does the job.Pros:- At this price point it is fairly accurate. Measured +/- 0.4% at kHz frequencies, +/- 1Hz at sub 1kHz.- I counted 14 different waveforms including less common but useful ones like half-wave of exponential decay. Some others, like ECG and Schuman are probably less useful in an engineering environment- Support of variable DC offset is nice as is a reasonably range of output amplitudes- Noise is limited below 100kHz although it's clearly the output of a DAC- Digital input allows for precise input of frequency.- Its small size doesn't waste desk spaceCons:- Having to cycle through each digit going only right to left and then single step up and down gets tedious. This tool is nice for setting one waveform and frequency and then leave it as such. It's not very good for applications where frequency needs to change e.g., finding an operating point- Display is fine and usable but not easy to read from an angle- Comes with what looks like an antenna that, according to the description, can create variances in solar activity and changes in seasons. It's still hot here in summer so not sure that's working.Overall, this tool works well if the limitations, especially in the user interface, are understood and accounted for.

Excellent USB powered function generator with many waveforms!
Great USB-powered portable function generator! It works very well with many options for different types of waveforms. It's accurate enough for most DIY hobby uses and has adjustable frequency, amplitude, and DC offset. It's very well built with an aluminum housing.

basic with a mix of pseudoscience, but still a useful tool!
Let me get this out right off the bat. This is in no means a replacement for a legitimate bench top arbitrary signal generator. But, it's also not really meant to compete with them? It's a tenth(or more) of the cost, and can still be pretty useful for a lot of people. The Schumann resonance antenna thing is just pseudoscience, but if they get more buyers when they throw that in I guess it doesn't hurt me. What it is nice for is a beginning electronics hobbyist! It doesn't output perfect waveforms at perfect frequencies, but it gets pretty close, and certainly close enough for quite a few fun projects and test scenarios. The menu is a little lacking, and the documentation is nonexistent, so you have to play around with it a lot to figure out how its supposed to work, but for the people that love doing electronics tinkering, and can't afford to drop half their monthly salary on a signal generator from a reputable supplier, this will be a great stepping stone.
