The Thompson Tee Sweatproof Undershirt for Men w/Underarm Sweat Pads (Original Fit, Deep V-Neck)

First saw this advertised on YouTube by Alpha M YouTube channel, which I went through a phase of watching and typically halfway through his video he'll start to shill some product for a company he has a deal with. Thompson Tee has been a long time sponsor of his. I've always been dubious about it as a result but definitely became more curious recently. I sweat. Badly. If you're interested in this product, presumably you do too. Anytime I go out, I get massive sweat patches through my clothing (multiple layers!) and no matter the weather because I sweat so much and it really bothers me! I'd love to pretend I cared little about what people though but there's just an impression given of people who are sweaty like that which I don't want to be associated with. I'd be conscious about my arm movements and just be less open with my body language as a result, as well as it also limiting the sort of clothes I'd be wearing. Tried EVERYTHING to reduce my sweating issue. All sorts of different deodorants, putting it on before bed, using talc. All ultimately ineffectual.So, thought I'd finally hop onto this. Was told to size down from my 'L' so went for an M. Deep V neck so it would remain hidden. £26? I was a bit conscious that this was way too expensive for what it is. I'm proud to say it was worth every penny. I was out last night with this underneath a shirt and a jumper combo and walked a fair distance all evening, was in some incredibly hot bars, and by the end of the night - zilch. Not a single bead of sweat was visible on this light grey jumper and on the shirt? Nothing. I was hella sweaty underneath, of course, but NO PATCHES WERE VISIBLE AT ALL.Simply put, the Thompson Tee works. And in my opinion, if you're bothered enough like me to want to remedy the issue, then the price is absolutely worth it. As others, I find Medium a comfortable size so size down from your regular and I also recommend the Deep V-Neck to keep it concealed. It's an absolutely great purchase and I will definitely be buying more in the near future.Any downsides at all? I've only worn it a few times so jury is out on whether it holds up but I see no reason why it won't if you wash it and dry it properly (air dry). Also, it is another layer so in certain hot environments you'll feel that impact but this is just the case with any under layer.Big thumbs up for the Thompson Tee. (Y)

WORKS. Keeps the sweat away from showing on your shirt.Just be aware the sizing is on the large size. I'm normally XL which generally fit well but after reading that these were on the big side decided to order a large- this is still a big fit on me but ok.

These seem ok and I've worn this once so far as a test, because I'm about to change jobs which will involve wearing a suit. I don't want sweaty armpits damaging or affecting the suit for obvious reasons so thought I'd try the Thompson Tee. I am about a 40 to 42 inch chest and for most shirts and tops I order a size L (LARGE) usually approx 42 to 44 chest. I ordered a LARGE and it came quickly but was huge and way too baggy. I returned it and ordered a M (MEDIUM). This size is better but it's still a little on the larger side for what I wanted. I wanted a tight fitting Tee to wear under a white formal shirt, so it wasn't baggy or bunched up, with a suit and tie on top.I then ordered some similarly priced shirts from FALKE in Germany by mail order on-line. These are more like skin colour (called Camel) and a LARGE in their version is a perfect snug fit with no baggy areas.So, whilst the Thompson seems similar in function, the FALKE in my opinion is better, quality and fit, and colour. But that's just my honest opinion having tried both brands.So, to sum up; Thompson Tee seems to work ok but the sizing is way on the Large side! Check carefully when ordering.

I sent the item back as the size of the v was rediculas and could be seen through shirts. I have their skinny fit version and can't fault the brands tech, but this fit is not well. Hidden under a shirt.

I am a nurse work in a very hot hospital and orderd this to go under my uniform . They Work amazing ! The arm sleeves sit just under my bcg injection mark if this helps anyone . I am a Uk size 18 top & quite big busted and a size small fit me perfect these are totally amazing & going to order another . They also don't make a crunching sound as someone said once they are on under you're clothes pile of rubbish yes they are expensive but well worth the money not a mark at all on my uniform ! X

The shirts are just WAY too big! I had a look on the original website and, according to that, I am an XS (although in Europe I am generally an M). I ordered XS and...guess what? This shirt is larger than a comparable European size L shirt.What a shame!

They wash well and absorb sweat

I am 27 and have suffered from persistent sweating for years, and honestly, it has been ruining my life. I turned down jobs because of the uniform and my wardrobe consists of simply black. I have always envied and questioned how anyone was able to wear grey, or light blue and so on.After having tried many different deodorants, high alcohol, no alcohol, clinical strength etc etc none of these worked.I also tried stick on 'sweat pads' that attach to the inside of your shirt, but I too sweat through these.So I was understandably apprehensive at the initial outlay when it came to purchasing this product, but I decided to bite the bullet and wow, I'm so glad I did. I haven't had any leakages, and that's through wearing the shirt during 8 hour shifts lifting and carrying things. My confidence has started to climb since wearing this shirt.5 Stars from me, and I will certainly be buying another.The other reviewers are right, I would certainly recommend going a size down, I did, and it is still not tight.

Es perfecto, unicamente cuidado con las tallas, normalmente soy talla entre mediana y chica, pero este modelo a mi me quedo mejor la extra chica, para que lo consideren. 0 sudor e incluso cuando me la quito por la noche, ni siquiera percibo haber sudado aun en dias que he caminado o estado expuesto al sol por largas horas. Ampliamente recomendado.

OMG these are a godsend. Used to be so embarrassing having wet or stained pits while at work or anywhere. These undershirts are amazing. I have worn one for 16 hours to test it out and no wetness was shown on my dress shirt.Only downside I could find is: the inside of the pit areas in the undershirt get pretty wet, but you would expect that though. Still nothing shows through though. Even with this con, the pros far outweigh it. If you sweat a lot then use this undershirt. It's the best

Ein gutes T-Shirt wenn man viel Schwitzt.Das T-Shirt hat große Schweisspolster wodurch sie auch bei starkem Schwitzen über Stunden trocken halten. Ich habe sie nun schon seid einigen Wochen und trage täglich eins. Auch nach mehreren Waschgängen und mehrmaligem tragen sind sie absolut zufriedenstellend.Die Polster unter den Armen sind größer und etwas dicker als bei den meisten anderen Anbietern was manche Leute stören könnte. Für mich ist es jedoch absolut perfekt und nach 1-2 x tragen hatte ich mich dran gewöhnt und merke es garnicht mehr.Vor dem ersten Wasschen sollte man ejdoch im Inetrnet mal suchen wie man solche Shirts richtig wäscht da man die Polster durch falsche Waschmittel, Temperaturen oder falsches Aufhängen auch beschädigen kann.Ich habe mit folgendem Vorgang sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht und habe bei 10 T-Shirts nach je ca 10 Waschgängen noch kein einziges defektes.1. T-Shirt auf 30/40 Grad Waschen (Ohne Weichspüler und kein Vollwaschmittel oder andere Agressivere Zusätze)2. T-Shirt auf eine Trockenleine hängen, dabei aber schauen das der Achselbereich(Polser) nicht zerknittert sind oder geknickt (Achselbereich sauber ausstülpen, glatt streichen und hängen lassen)Das macht 5 Sekunden mehr Arbeit aber dafür halten sie lange.

J'écris un commentaire parce que ce produit a vraiment tenu toutes ses promesses.Je vous résume ma situation antérieure. J'adore les chemises, je trouve que ces dernières rendent tout les hommes classes. Celà me poussa à en acheter beaucoup...Malheureusement je suis quelqu'un qui transpire pour un rien, des gouttes quand je suis dans une pièce fraîche et des torrents quand j'ai une présentation ou un rendez-vous. Ce problème me poussa à ne plus trop porter de chemise quand je commença ma nouvelle activité car j'avais peur du regard des autres. J'ai bien sûr tout essayé, anti-transpirant, patches... Rien ne fonctionna. Et puis après une réunion où l'on nous força à porter des chemises, j'ai décidé de mettre mon argent dans un de ses t-shirts soit disant miracles.Et ben punaise, j'avoue ne pas avoir été déçu. Plus aucune trace, même à 35°... Je le met en boîte, au boulot, au resto, il est vraiment parfait. J'en ai commandé plusieurs et ils sont tous parfait. Ils sont ont comme neufs après 4 mois d'utilisation.En gros si la sueur vous empêche de mettre vos belles chemises, ne réfléchissez même pas. Ce produit va VRAIMENT changer votre vie.

I've always had a lot of problems with stained armpits on my dress shirts so when I saw this on Shark Tank I decided to give it a try. When I looked on Amazon I also so the Ejis Sweatproof Undershirt so I bought one of each to compare.The Ejis is a bit more expensive, but it seems to be made from a nicer material and is a bit longer both in height and sleeve length. I'm fairly tall so I appreciate the extra length, but I did discover that the sleeves are just a little too long to wear with a short sleeve dress shirt or polo. With the Ejis I also feel kind of like I'm wearing a wet diaper under each armpit.The Thompson Tee feels more like my standard undershirts and is a bit shorter all around. Even with the shorter sleeves it seems to do just as good a job at keeping my dress shirts dry, with the bonus that I can also wear it with short sleeves. My armpits also feel a little drier than they do with the Ejis. I've seen some complaints that the vee is too deep and can be seen through the dress shirts. My shirts seem to be heavy enough fabric that this hasn't been a problem for me, and I like that I don't have to button my shirt all the way up to hide my undershirt.Bottom line; both work well, but I find that I liked the Thompson Tee enough to order several more of them. I'm now wearing the Ejis one day a week and the Thompson Tees the rest of the time.
