RED BETTER CALM-THE-HECK DOWN BALM

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for this product!!!! NO PHENOXYETHENOL means no allergic reactions for me. The consistency can seem a little greasy, but since I can't use anything else that is easy to access to help the constant dryness and redness on my face, it's actually really great for me. If your skin is oily, this might be too greasy for you to use with other products. I usually have to moisturize my hands and face repeatedly throughout the day, but with this, it's one use in the morning during the 2 week use period, and I won't need another moisturizer again until the evening if I avoid being blasted by fans or AC/Heater in the car. It takes the first day or two before I notice the redness in my face going away (outside of the temperature shifts, bouts of direct sun, or workouts that make my face red regardless) but by day 4 or 5 the angry red patches on my face are no longer noticeable. I don't wear makeup so not having angry red splotches across my face all the time is very important.Long Version: With extremely sensitive skin, I cannot use any products that have Phenoxyethenol or other forms of the "formaldehyde" type of preservative, and thank goodness this does not have it! Almost everything else you can get from a physical store (pharmacy, supermarket, or beauty store) for face, skin, or hair is going to have that garbage in there. 98% of people won't reactt, but within MINUTES of using a product or even just prolonged skin contact with someone who uses product with that preservative in it, my face breaks out in red, blotchy, swollen skin that eventually becomes raw in typical chemical burn fashion. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have an AFFORDABLE option to combat the redness in my face that does NOT have that common, toxic ingredient, and that isn't a steroid ointment. I wish I had taken a photo, but I bought this products in hope to calm my skin after another product irritated it. This only caused more irritation to my skin. I realize that skincare is personal so my experience may not be the same outcome as someone else, but when a product calls itself flare-up balm and does the opposite then I can only express my disappointment. I could not recommend this to friends with the same sensitivity issues.

Have not used it long enough to give a fair review but will continue using it daily. Spreads on very easily..

I have never written a review before but I do not want you to waste your money. Do not purchase this product. There is barely anything in this 0.88 oz, not to mention it is over $50.00!!! There was no reduce in redness whatsoever and it just left my face feeling uncomfortable and greasy. If I could give this 0 stars I would.
