Great upgrade for my older car
I bought a 14-year-old car with an entertainment screen but no navigation capability. However, it did have a slot to add this card, so I can now use maps and get directions, just like most newer cars already have.

2016 Mazda cx5 DOES NOT WORK
Garbage. Did absolutely NOTHING for my 2016 Mazda cx5. Returned and refunded.

Works well
I am very happy to have navigation on my Mazda 3 at such an great price. Mazda quoted me $397 for the card. It's truly outrageous to charge that price for a tiny card. I have my old GPS which flopped around and was hard to read because the mount was junk. So I am delighted to dispense with the wires, etc.Didn't have one address that I know has been there since the 1980's.When you enter a favorite address, you can't name it a person or a place. You have to do that in a different step.BUT it started right up as soon as I slipped in the card, and turned the car on. This is a critical step, because if you first start the car before inserting the card, it will program incorrectly and it can't be undone.I haven't gone anywhere yet so I can't yet say anything other than that.I didn't see any selection of closest way or fastest way. And since it didn't come with a manual. I can't say.

Best way to save some money!!!
Do not broke your bank updating maps to car dealer! Buy this very convenient card and save at least $500 - 600. In my case, Mazda dealer gave me a huge price for updating maps and replace the SD card.

Newer than what I had but not 2023.
This card was newer than my 2016 map card but the card I receivedis definitely not 2023. There are several roads where I am at locally that have been completed prior to 2023 that do not appear on this card. I would suggest proceeding cautiously.
