This is my second charger that I bought and i may say that it was very reliable and useful charger. I really recommend this product. Keep it up guys!

Battery Tester is very valuable to determine charge-ability of previously used batteries, thus it makes a logical bundle. I have used the MaximalPower charger on the Alkaline setting, 3 times in the 2 days since it arrived! I am unable to speak to the longevity of the charges or the charger - time will tell. Thus far, I am well pleased with it's performance and that it offers more choice to extend battery usage.

I like that it recharges different batteries. I do not like that if you do not watch this charger closely, the batteries will seep out an acid that will eat through the wiring. Do not leave batteries in the charger any longer than needed. When they go from CHG to OK, you need to remove them soon. Other than that, it works just fine and saves money buying batteries. Especially if you grandson goes through them fast.

I secured this charger specifically for alkaline batteries. It has a specific setting especially for alkaline batteries. I put this charger to use the minute after I had it unpacked. Considering the fact that no alkaline battery manufacturer has made their batteries to be recharged, I have been very happy with the results. I have also used the charger for Ni-Cd and it automatically discharges and then recharges the Ni-Cds. It also has a separate setting for Ni-MH batteries. I would recommend this charger to anyone.

Once I received it I read manuel, so started using it! I I started putting battery in it! Notice that 9 volt was a pain to put in left it alone for a day or two than I attached the 9 volt and it went in. When I went to recover the 9 volt the battery came out & the terminal also!! Booo! Was upset! But was great was the battery checker!! I loved that!

This is an awesome charger for alkaline batteries. It's fast, it charges everything, does exactly what the description promised.Money well spent.

The charger is nearly impossible to use; it's awkward and thier are small nodes on top and bottom of the unit and it is difficult to stay on the nodes especially the positive side of the battery, 2 nodes trying to stay fixed in place, not worth the trouble. I charged (once used) batteries and when I used their tester, it wouldn't register to the middle of the green area; so which is junk, tester or charger or both. Balancing the nodes is like balancing 2 eggs on top of each other. Getting 2 batteries next to each other will teach you to swear. Don't stress yourself; getting four batteries in is difficult, 8 batteries, good luck.
