Amazing piece of kit
Excellent product and very good value considering it includes 3 types of USB input (micro, A and C), 2 output connectors (A and C), a very usable and view-able colour screen, Bluetooth connectivity and good software functions on the device plus PC / Smartphone software. Bluetooth set-up is easy and fast - just pair with the device and select the lowest numbered COM port in the PC software etc.Like everyone else, I have a growing number of devices charging from USB outlets - around 15 devices that are in daily use plus many other devices that get occasional use. In the "old days" pretty much everything charged at the standard 500ma (or often less) USB port output. But now we have multiple new USB "fast-charging" modes etc, so it is now more important to know if the USB port or charger (and cable) are compatible with the device e.g. the original USB power standard was 2.5w (0.5a) but the USB-c and USB-PD can handle up to 100w - too much for most USB devices, but good for charging PCs and tablets etc.Unless I am travelling, I don't use the original mains wall chargers. To keep things neat and tidy I use a 10 port powered USB hub, plus three 5 port hubs in my study. This meter confirmed that the 10 port USB gave enough power on all it's ports for charging any of my devices. The 3 identical smaller powered hubs were marginal (the voltage on one was slightly under the USB power spec limit) - however I'd kind of assumed that, so they are only used for low power devices like wireless mouse and keyboard dongles, UPS connections and charging my Fitbit etc.Other things that the meter helped with were:Confirming that the original chargers are normally the best for charging things quick.I was never sure if the Qi wireless chargers were "as fast" as a wired USB connection - so I stopped using them - but this meter appears to confirm that they are just as good. The meter did identify some marginal USB cables that caused a voltage drop - so I have packed them away in case they get used on a high power device by mistake. The meter only arrived today, so tomorrow I'll test the car USB charging set-up and optimize it if necessary.

Good USB tester
So far, it has been working fine. I've used it with both the Android and Windows app and they're both ok. It can be pretty temperamental with the Bluetooth connection. Sometimes it's instant, other times it will take multiple attempts.I would like to have seen some consistency between the graph colours and the text readout colours. Eg; The same green for voltage and the same colours for amps, instead of..Volts: 2 different shades of green for graph/textAmps: red-graph / blue textSee attached screenshot. It works ok, but it's just weird to me why the manufacturer did it that way.

Great product - it will save me hours
As a computer engineer I'm often faced with USB problems & diagnosis can be a real headache. This little tester supplies me with a full readout instantly of what's happening with a particular port or with a connected peripheral.Up to now I've used a cut down USB cable with connectors soldered to a board so I can use a multimeter. This means that I have to have one for each type of connection & it very difficult to get accurate readings. Swapping out a system board in a laptop is a very time consuming & expensive way of finding out if you've misdiagnosed the fault & it's the peripheral that's the fault. Now I can just plug in the tester & get an instant readout of all features of USB from both the system & the peripheral at the same time. Now I can diagnose with confidence saving time & money for my company & my customer. It's a great product with USB A in & out, type C in & out & micro USB so it acts as an in-line tester. Comes in a metal box so well protected when you carry it around. Now a permanent resident of my toolkit. Its already diagnosed a non POST fault on a server in seconds whereas I would have taken the system down to basics & spent over an hour messing about. Thanks Innovateking-EU - I'm impressed.Five stars without doubt.....ten if I could.

A fantastic tool to have
I got this USB power meter to help troubleshoot issues I was having with power supplies and single board computers like the Raspberry Pi, and it has helped me identify a lot of issues out there relate to the chargers and cables and not the single board computers themselves.Although the barebones look of the unit is a little unnerving, I have found this device very capable. Having inputs and outputs for full size USB, and USB C and an input for micro USB means it can be connected to the most commonly used USB connections. When combined with a USB load it can help stress test power supplies and cables and from there you can see if the charger or the cable itself is the reason why your phone doesn't charge properly or if your power bank has its stated capacity. I have used mine to test all these things.Overall, having a unit like this is an asset to anyone who is interested in electronics, single board computers or needs to check USB charging cables and power supplies.

Great bit of kit
This seems to be the same maker as many others, just rebadged. So you could get it cheaper by shopping around. That said, its easy to use, and accurate. Lacks any real instructions but as its sold by so many others under different brand names, you can download the instructions for others.
