Wonderful minimalist key solution, one of the best having tried many
I wanted a slim key solution that wouldn't scratch up my leather wallet. I tried the Ridge Key Case, and that thing is chunky and you have so much volume on the scales and the pocket clip if you use that. Then I've tried a couple of chinese off brand key organizers, they are okay but they all lack the feeling of a quality good that will last, plus are cheap aluminum and have hard machined ridges that will scratch up all your stuff.I bought my first KeySmart at a gas station, which was just a basic plastic model after being frustrated by these solutions that seem to add bulk. It's tricky to get your keys installed, and you likely need to play around with spacers but you probably don't do this often. This version is a slightly slimmer than the plastic version with some style and wow does this impress. The scales feel dense and strong, and the edges are rounded and have a soft touch. The Red Forged Carbon Fiber the rendered images don't serve it justice how good this looks. It has a glossy finish, and iridescent red flakes. The top scale is reversible so you can pick the side that looks prettiest to you.You don't even need tools to put this together. It has rubber spacers on both sides so if you torque down the screws too tightly you cannot really use your keys. You can just use your thumb and tighten the screws about as far as you can tighten it with your thumb it is at about perfect tension.I modded a Keyport MOCA to fit into this and it's just the perfect tool that won't get you into trouble with the TSA. Keysmart has their own tool, but I don't love the idea of a screw driver point jabbing into everything in my pocket.

Awesome key carry solution
*****UPDATE 3.25.16****************After a year and a half, the KeySmart has just gotten better. I haven't needed to tighten the screws for months. The paint is really durable where the key attached to the top doesn't rub. I get lots of comments on it and have never had a problem with it- zero broken screws. One benefit that was unnoticed early on is that I no longer have to look and find specific keys. Based on how it sits in the hand, over time you get pretty good at remembering which key is which slot. By the time I'm at my front door, the key is out and ready. This feature is super valuable when your hands are full! I really love my KeySmart.********************************************************************** Original Review:***********************************************************This thing is awesome. I hated my keys jabbing into my leg throughout the day and was constantly trying to look for a solution. Some things to note before you buy- Car keys with plastic bases (such as those which have transponders in them) will not work in the KeySmart and have to be connected to the top with a key ring- My wife's Hyundai key does not have a transponder but is long. It fits well in the extended KeySmart but would not fit in the regular.- Assembly is not as difficult as some would have you believe. Is it awkward? Yeah. But, if you watch the video and follow instructions, it is done easily in a couple minutes.- With my car key connected via key ring, there are some scuffs and dings where the ring rubs on the KeySmart. It isn't a serious issue but the black has worn away and the bare metal is showing through.- I have a Leatherman 831678 Brewzer/Box S/S installed in mine and it works really well in there.- Over time, the screws will get a bit loose. It requires tightening with a coin about twice a month.- Many other reviews complain about the extension screw piece breaking. I don't have any experience with it occurring after several months and many break-downs and re-assemblies. One thing to watch out for that might be the culprit- upon assembly it does seem like it could be easy to cross-thread the screw. The parts are small and threads are fine. Be certain that everything is straight and aligned correctly before cranking down on it and you shouldn't have any issues (I haven't at least).Overall I really highly recommend this thing. It really is nice to cut down on the cluttered, sharp annoyance of a bunch of keys in your pocket. It's a cool little gadget than has a great function.

Good
Doesn't comfortably hold 8 keys as advertised; it's more like 6. But for those six, it does its job well. Keys slide out without issue, and the product is solidly built.

Amazing solution to an annoying problem
Great cheap way to get keys organized instead of flopping around on different sets of keyrings on other keyrings on carabiners. 100 percent recommend to anyone with a bunch of work keys or keys for an apartment or house on top of multiple sets of keys. Allows for quick organization where I always know where the key I need is and easy to access. The installation is a little tricky. For the price, I am ok with the slight design flaw causing it to be difficult to install. The ease of accessing the key is entirely dependent on preference. If you want your keys sturdy and more difficult to pull out of the holder, just tighten more. If you want easier access, just tighten the screw less. Easily fits into a small pocket!
