The quality of the wood and finish is nowhere near as good as the picture and my 15.6" laptop does not fit quite right due to the bizarre recesses. I regret my purchase.EDITI've flipped it over and it's workable - I've upped my review by one star, but the finish is clearly different between the picture and what I've received, however it's good enough.

Perfect, have been looking for laptop lap desk like this forever. It is a very practical and beautifull board. Quality made with a nice finish. Really speedy delivery. I'm very happy with purchase - highly recommended.

After buying a MacBook Pro and realising that it gets a bit warm on my lap, under unit ventilation being the culprit. After poking around the internet I saw a wooden lap desk but at over £100 price-tag I wrote it off. Cue Amazon, under £30 for an identical lap desk, ordered and it arrived next day (thanks Prime). It's a solid lap desk, fits the MacBook Pro snug and perfectly, it now runs smoothly and cooler (bonus). Lots of room for a mouse, to stand your phone and more. Don't hesitate, buy it.
