Cantilever Scope Mounts, Offset Dual Ring One-Piece Scope Mount, High Precision Lightweight RifleScope Mount

I purchased this cantilever mount to use on my 5.56 AR with a vortex strike eagle. The mount is light yet is very solid construction. The height is also great for use on an AR. You cannot beat the value that discovery opt offers.

Really great quality , no competition at this price point or even at double this price.

8 would give 5 stars but it didn't come with all the bolts for the scope rings and It pulled the base threads on one of base bolt holes at only 10in lbs on my torque wrench. I will say I didnt reach out to seller due to the fact I needed the scope mount that weekend and couldnt wait to get another. So I drilled and heli-coil all base holes and bought some bolts for the missing scope rings. I havent had any issues besides the ones I stated above and have over 500 rounds on it now.

This mount at 1.93 inches is the perfect height on an AR style rifle with rear charging.It is very well made and solid with the three anchor screws holding it to the picatiny rail. Only complaint would be to widen the space between scope mounts for ease of scope adjustments on turrets .

Wow, DISCOVERYOPT folks keep impressing me more and more. I own several DISCOVERYOPT scopes and scope mounts, and I really like their design and build quality. So far, I did not have a single issue with their products. So, I was expecting the same quality level from this scope mount, and it did not disappoint me. It is perfect for mounting telescopic optics onto flattop style AR-15 rifles. The 2-inch offset of this cantilever mount positions the scope in a forward location, supporting correct eye relief and head placement. The mount positions the center of the rifle scope tube at a height of 1.93 inches (49 mm) from the base. I would also like to point out that it has a very low profile, its base to bottom of ring height is only 1.26 inches (32 mm). I would like to specially note that this is one of the lowest profile 34 mm single-piece scope mounts I have ever seen so far. I always mount my scopes as low as possible to get closer to the barrel. This scope mount is perfect for mid-range 3-9x scopes that do not have a large scope objective. Also, I really like how they did all the cutouts in the base and rings to lower the overall weight without compromising the integrity of the mount. It's not as heavy as other cantilever mounts, I have, weighing only 166 grams, but looks and feels rock-solid. The overall build quality is excellent, it's on par if not better than Vortex, Burris, Bushnell, etc. products' quality in my opinion and at a fraction of the cost. I can't believe it's priced at less than 22 bucks! I didn't have any alignment issues with the rings, and I did not need to lap the rings thanks to precision machining, index pins, and single-piece solid design of them. Though, I still expect that some people, being very particular about the scope fit, are still going to lap it a bit, which is totally unnecessary but not going to hurt either. The base of the mount uses 3 screws to securely clamp to a Picatinny rail and has 3 recoil stops to guarantee zero hold. The only feature that I'm missing in the scope rings setup is a quick release mount. Another point for concern is that it's machined from lower-grade 6061 aluminum, but this is a very solid and stable scope platform, and for the cost you can't go wrong.Pro-tip: Just make sure not to over-tighten the scope rings' screws when setting up your scope, and always use a torque limiting screwdriver with torque set below 25 in-lb. I personally prefer 20 in-lb, and it always holds up just fine. The mount also has the torque specs and screw tightening pattern printed on the scope rings for your convenience, though I think it's not necessary.Bottom line:Yes, I definitely recommend this rock-solid DISCOVERYOPT scope mount. Its single-piece 2" offset design is perfect for mounting scope on flattop style AR-15 rifles. It's quite lightweight and low profile, allowing you to mount a scope at 32 mm height. Its build quality is superb and on par with top brand names like Vortex, Burris, Bushnell, etc. The only thing I'm missing is the QD mount.
