Micro Trader New Water-Saving Bath Shower Head Super Low Pressure Boosting

Brilliant! Works surprisingly well. I had a dribble with the old shower head and now I can actually project a horizontal water stream from one end of the tub to the other. The head did feel very plasticky when I took it out the box, but once mounted I didn't notice it anymore. The water stream is also quite narrow, so keep that in mind - depending on your current shower head, you're possibly going to be swapping a large surface area drizzle for a small, but focussed stream. While the stream has a high pressure though, it's not uncomfortable like some of those massage settings on some shower heads, it's actually still pleasantly soft. Also, this is amazing value! I paid only £6.37 at the time.I also did some other tweaks to my shower set-up before I got this head. On their own these tweaks didn't do that much, but they may still have improved the result of this shower head:- I bought a hose with a large bore:  Superlux Shower Hose - Chrome finish - 175cm - large 11mm bore - I also bought washers with an equally large bore and then only used those (I found cheap ones elsewhere).- I also did not use the little washer with the embedded sieve that came with the head.

Bought it on a whim to try and improve a 'less than idea' shower pressure. Huge mistake. Actually gives a lower shower pressure than the shower head we had originally! Tried it with and without the filter and no difference.Looks nice enough, and cheap enough for a try, but worthless. Put straight into the bin after 2 days.

Turned our "dribble" into an actual shower. I was sceptical of the other reviews at first, but for £7 it was worth a try. Pressure is utterly pathetic in our upstairs bathroom, but this little wonder boosts the flow enough to make it a real, honest-to-goodness shower! First clue was when I turned it on, water didn't come out until the pressure had built up at the shower head -- a good sign. Then the flow was dense and consistent whilst I showered. It even seems to have helped sort our water temperature problems as the hot/cold variance seems to decrease with the added pressure (time will tell on that one). Highly recommended.

Our electric shower has fairly low water pressure with a puny stream of water that drops off after several inches when holding the shower head at an angle. The only way to get a fairly strong stream of water is to use the massage setting on shower heads which let water through the centre part only.In a desperate attempt I've also replaced the solenoid inside the electric shower unit which supposed to help with low pressure but that made no difference whatsoever...After looking at several products on Amazon, we settled for this shower head. It arrived in a couple of days in a non-descript grey bag. Assembly was dead simple - there is a plastic cap at the base to keep the rubber washer and mesh in place. Unscrew the cap, re-attach the hose coming out of your shower and you're done.The spray from the shower head is very fine and thin, but there are lots of streams due to the numerous tiny pinholes the water is forced through.Pressure is a lot better compared to our previous shower head - water doesn't drop considerable as it leaves the unit. The spray's travel distance is about three times longer than what it was.Very pleased with the item for its price. Although it's lightweight and the head is smaller than on standard ones, the spray is stronger and more concentrated. There are some stray jets that spurt water in a wide angle on both sides, hence the four stars.

It doesn't improve the pressure at all, just uses finer holes in the showerhead and the head has a small surface area, so that the water is all concentrated in a small area - so I guess the small jet feels slightly more powerful, but it doesn't cover your whole body. Jets also get clogged easily, and start squirting in all directions. I found that scrubbing it with a toothbrush clears the tiny holes. For me, it was a waste of money, I'm no better off. (hot water tank, gravity fed shower)

I've bought this at the end of February, 'cause my old one had broke. Good pressure, and I was very happy with it.Until unfortunately this morning the whole piece inside of the black rubber has popped out during shower and doesn't stay in.Wouldn't recommend.

Having recently moved to a house that has very low water pressure to the showers, we had resigned ourselves to a drip drip trickel of a shower until such time as we can afford a power shower installation.....Although this doesn't give a Power Shower result, it does a pretty good job of turning a trickle into something that can be described as a shower..... We are very grateful...I have left the filter outto gain maximum water flow, but clean the head every few days.... It is easy enough to unscrew from the hose....Neat little shower head that does what it says on the tin.... Thank you... xx

Looks good quality and modern although it is very cheap. Works really well, we had a large shower head with terrible flow and although it obviously can't increase the flow of water it is smaller than our last shower head and redirects all the water into a more usable area so giving the impression of much better flow and more luxurious shower - we've ordered a second for our other bathroom as it works so well!!

I love it! It doesn't make a huge pressure, but very aerated water.The quality itself is great, easy to install.
