I love this measuring, angle finding, geometrically intriguing device so much.Yes, it IS accurate. and so easy to use I will likely be starting projects that I've put off for months (well, okay, years).This is aluminum with aluminum knobs. It's sturdy and when you tighten the knobs, the settings stay put until you release them. That, is important!Thanks//(~_~)\\AU

Just installed new flooring throughout my home around door jams, floor registers etc.. Once you get a feel for this is so easy to lay it out, lock it into position and transfer that to your material and get an exact match. Comes in a vinyl pouch and stores easily. This is well made of stainless steel. Very handy.

As an added little feature I like the little level vial that comes with it. I would consider getting a larger size too. It does not seem to be super HD so don't drop tools or tile on it:)

Husband seems happy with it, and he's really picky.

I thought it would help with measuring and copying angles but I found it to be a pain in the butt to use esp if you have to hold it like on a window edge on the side of the house you need 4 hands. just chucked it.

This was a life savior in making new holes for a DIY cabinet I made. I’m a beginner and it was easy for me to figure out a use.
