So first this company sends me some cheap stock plastic axles that someone had returned to them (in place of the upgrades). When I do get my parts. I find that the front axel is so poorly made and the tolerances are soo bad, that it won't drive the wheels. The gear in the portal hub has enough side movement, that it becomes disengaged from the drive pin. I fixed this by adding an o-ring to take out the gap. I shouldn't have to do this! It's very unlikely I will ever buy from this company again.

I wanted metal portal axles for my FMS FCX18 LC80 build. I was impressed with the quality machining of both axles. Everything on these axles are metal and fit well together. They add a lot of weight down low which is what you want on a crawler. I did have to lube the portal and differential gears, so I suggest doing so before installing. Other than that, they installed easily and run great.

El kit es perfecto, le da mayor peso y rigidez a mi FCX24. Es conveniente, ya que comprar esto por separado es bastante más caro, los diferenciales vienen lubricados, el movimiento de los engranajes metálicos es muy suave. Sin duda contento con la compra.

Product stated these axles are an improvement over stock. After 1 hour runtime, front differential stripped and no longer 4x4. Would not recommend.

I ordered these for my FMS FCX18 LC80, and I am loving them! the extra weight, the construction, materials, and the fitment are perfect! RCAWD really did an amazing job with this product, and my rig performs flawlessly with these additions! I recommend giving them a try, because the price point is perfect considering they come with 2 differential sets, brass portal covers, and are much better than the stock fms axles by far!
