I had a longer rotary adapter but my NEJE chuck worked much better. With tapered shapes the longer would allow the tumbler to drift off center. The chuck holds fast.

I waited too long to put this togetherand the retun window closed. Cant even try it out. I bought the Neje brand because i have the Neje laser. But the top of the chuck sits at over 5.5 in off the table. Then add thickness of whatever you are engraving on. The x axis rail sits 3.5 in off the table. The x axis motor and laser head are mounted to this rail. As you can see in the pic there is no way this will work. Laser head is raised to max. And thats a neje brand z axis adjustable mount. The math doesnt work. Unless i cut a hole in my table and overhang it so that i can make the roller much lower, i cant use it. I have the extended rails so it' too big to raise the entire laser/rail assembly. Big waste of $ for me. Maybe ok if you have a cnc with laser head that has a lot of clearance. But wont work for average laser.

The rotary skips and does not rotate properly. Can’t get uneven cuts used a friends and his worked perfect. Bought this during deployment and now I can even return it
