This Rubik's Cube from Gancube is really well made. It slides so smoothly compared to my old one that I never solved and neglected. After scrambling it, I spent hours on trying to solve this myself but it was a fruitless exercise. The cube comes with a pamphlet for algorithms to solve the cube but it's small and cryptic. Then I stumbled on the best video tutorial I've ever seen by a channel called EasiestSolve and I actually managed to beat it. Initially took me like hours. Now I can get it down to 30 minutes (if I don't mess up the counter, clock, flip combos).Anyway, this cube also has an app on the Play store called CubeStation but it's pointless with this particular cube since it's not battery powered and cannot sync with the app via bluetooth. I initially hoped that it would give me the solution to solving the puzzle but it was impossible to pair with the cube. Also, the app requires email/user registration without any option for a guest mode.That said, ignoring the app, this is an affordable toy that can provide endless enjoyment. It doesn't really get old and it's a good pastime on the subway. 5/5

I'm no expert speed cuber, but this cube is smoother than the original Rubik cube and cheaper versions, you can adjust the tension and feel of movement, plus you can change the strength of the magnets, it seemed pricey for a plastic toy but it is much better than the cheaper versions.
