Terrible. Horrendous experience
This VCR took forever to arrive. It was well packaged (nothing exceptional)but arrived w/o the remote as it was indicated it will have it. I wrote to the vendor ,still no answer. theat was not the worse of the problems: The unit , while i was playing one of my treaured , collectible tapes caught fire, as you read FIRE!!! i ran and got my fire extinguisher and saved my TV and speakers. The VCR was completely burnt. The room was filled witth smoke and burned plastic and of course< i lost my Tape. i am stuck with an expense and while i will let AMAZON know what happened i dont have any expectation as the unit is not returnable as it was and the postmaster (as i investigated) wouldnt allow me to return it. my advice: dont buy used components like this that obviously was in some manner refurbished. BTW it was picked up this morning by the garbage folks

TOSHIBA VCR
From here on out if I need a vcr I will buy from t the goodwill like I did where the vcr is in excellent condition bought this toshiba from a seller on Amazon and paid $70.00 way to much overpriced!! And when I recieved the vcr it had the universal with a 100 different codes!!! That was more than I bargain for !! Also every movie that I played had white. Letters at the top I went into settings and tried to take the numbers off but each time the settings would not let me the .Tracking kept messing up it was a disaster to say the least!!! These sellers overprice all there used vcrs on here save money goodwill thak you!! KC1234

Been using it for over a decade and i love it
work fine, i have been using the VCR for long time without crashing, although selling it to buy the latest vcr recorder
