The Everything Guide to Writing Your First Novel: All the tools you need to write and sell your first novel (Everything® Series)

Item arrived right on time in a good condition. I haven't started reading it yet and when I do I will update this accordingly. However, just know the size of this book is not something you can roll in your pocket or grab on the go without a bag. It is a lightweight medium size textbook. The pages flip smoothly and the font size makes a pleasant read.

The book was complete and thorough could’ve used some more concrete examples to demonstrate the aforementioned idea plenty of resources to draw from definitely worth my time and money

If you are interested in writing a novel but you dont know where to start, get this book. It walks you through formulating an idea, premise, building/developing characters, plot, setting, and even pitching your book. It has examples and writing prompts. This a 101 course in a book.

The Everything Guide to Writing Your First Novel has been a great help. It is so easy to follow, understand, and implement on your own work. This guide really helps you stay organized. I have gifted it to a couple of people and it has been a great help. If you're writing your first novel then this book is a very useful tool.

Easy quick read pep talk for first time novelists. I feel energized and ready to thrash out my novel in 6 months, although I have a sneaking suspicion that it is going to very likely be a bit more complicated than Hallie Ephron makes out.

I bought a different “Everything” book before and LOVED it! Which is why I thought to get this one! However the other one I got had pictures and was just a more fun read. Even though it’s not quite what I expected, it’s still in amazing condition and great quality.

I teach fiction writing classes for the Community Education component at Doña Ana Community College. This book has everything I use in my weekly lessons and my students seem to enjoy it.(I bought the book myself, knowing that my own writing would benefit after I read what Ephron had to say.)

Really helpful book if you're stuck at writing a fantasy or any type of novel, like me. Though the pages were little pale, but than also the quality was good. Simple and clear. Excellent book in terms of its content.. must book for novel writers who start their work very beginning....

Good for jr high students

Useless. Information provided in this book can be easily accessed through any online search. Very general and basic. Might be Good for someone who is an entrant into the writing business, but di not consider it inspiring.
