Excellent lock
Got new bike recently and after long research I decided to go for Evolution mini 5. Lock is very sturdy and also practical and small. Didn’t wanted to buy bigger ones as I like to have on the bike smallest amount of add-ons as possible to keep it light. Yes, you cannot lock the bike on every post possible but you always have around some good fence or something so there is no problem on being “too small”. It is very easy to lock and unlock. Also, lock holder is great, no movements, no noises or anything. You pay one time 50€ for a good lock and you are good to go for a long long time, also most of the bikes stolen are ones with cheap chains. Good luck in cutting this xD

Worth the money 💰
Really love this lock. It’s literally small enough for travel but most importantly to hook your bike to any bar/post. This has lasted me a couple months and I’ve had no problems with it. Heard many reviews saying that it rusts easily but I havnt experienced that even though my bike has been out every day even when it’s raining. The build of the lock is strong and durable. It’s theif protective as it would take time for someone to cut through it, so it would really put them off in a public setting. A percent of this product is that because it’s heavy, they have supplied a lock holder to not weigh you down. Would 100% Recommend to a friend.

I think it's worth paying the price premium for Kryptonite since it the safety deterrent on bike thieves

Solid Portable Lock
This is a good solid lock in a portable size though a little heavy. I’m very happy with it apart from the poorly finished aluminium mounting bracket - the sharp edges put a scratch on my new bike. I have since removed the bracket (easy to do) and just carry the lock in a bag instead of using the supplied bike mount.

It rattles when cycling.
I have bought 2 now, and they both rattle. The lock doesn't fit securely in place which causes a loud rattle every time I cycle. Is there something you can do?

Perfect size, easy to mount on the bike and strong
I only ever buy these high quality locks after too many problems with cheap ones and it is well worth it for reliability and strength.

Lightweight and small, but no frame bracket so you need to carry it ... major fail for the price
Lightweight and small, so that's nice. I don't buy the strength rating being the same as the thicker U-locks (if it was, they would all make them thinner and lighter). It's still only a deterrent since you can cut through this in 15 seconds with an angle grinder just like most U-locks out there, so there's no need to pretend.Major fail not to include a bike frame bracket to secure it onto the bike when riding. I mean you're asking for more than 50 GBP for a small bike lock, you'd better include the minimal needful.
