Luxurious Blowout Look!!
This Hot Tools Pro Artist 24K Gold One-Step Dryer & Curler is absolutely amazing! I fell in love with using it. I have long, fine, straight hair and thus can create beautiful curls with the vented barrel attachment. I have always been afraid of burning myself with a traditional curling iron, but this feels much safer using this tool. The comb-like concentrator attachment makes it easy to add volume at the roots of the hair. The results are like a salon blowout! Looks amazing and curls are bouncy and shiny! A great value for something amazing! My hair look so nice and I like how my hair has no frizz and less heat damage! Overall I am very impressed and satisfied!!

This tool is pretty nifty to have but...
I had high hopes for this tool. I bought it at a discounted rate from an Amazon coupon lady Facebook page. I think it's really cool that it dries and curls the hair at the same time. I was hoping that it would cut down on my time to get ready each morning but I found that it takes a bit more time because I am drying individual strands at a time instead of willy nilly on my whole head. The curls are a bit chaotic but decent and the volume it gives is wonderful. I do go over a few of the curls with my actual curling iron after I'm finished with this tool though. Overall, I like the tool but will only use it when I have the time to.

Very neat curling iron
I love this curling iron. It gives my hair the volume I need. I'm so glad I got to try it out. I've showed my friends and they fell in love instantly. It was very easy to use, and didn't seem to tangle up my hair. This is great for people who have thin, straight hair that would like to add some volume to their hair.

Interesting device
This took me a bit to get the knack for. It feels a bit gentler than a traditional curling iron, I'm happy about that. However, I like that with a traditional curling iron, I can tame some of the coarseness or frizz - this doesn't seem to do quite as good of a job at that. Could be that I'll get better with time. Right now, there aren't any youtube tutorials for this - just the brand's promo for it and then a long form commercial. Makes it difficult to know if I'm using it correctly or not.

Kind of missed the mark for me
I have straight hair; it is blonde and finely textured. It is also recovering from some bleaching damage towards the ends. I enjoy trying and experimenting with multi-in-1 styling tools because they allow me to do more with less (and thus, less heat damage for my hair). This tool kind of struck me as somewhat of a mix between the revlon styling brush and the dyson airwrap. There are 3 items included in the package: the handle and the 2 attachments: root dryer and curler/blow dryer.I first tried the root dryer attachment. The immediate desire is to use it as a brush on the roots - but it doesn't work that way and doesn't pass hair through it like a brush. It took a while for me to get my roots dry - when they are otherwise the first ones to dry. HOWEVER, I did discover that the root dryer is perfect for volumizing hair products. That is, if you are applying a volumizing product to the roots of your dry hair, this attachment will really hit it out of the ballpark.I am less enthusiastic about the dryer/curler combo. I experimented with different settings and sections to use if, I can indeed dry my hair and curl it at the same time - yet the result was neither. The hair was semi-dry and the "curls" I was able to create were wonky and sloppy squiggles. It could be that there is a learning curve here that I am not getting but I never had issues with a regular curler or blowing out my hair with a dryer and a round brush. I could also be that it works better on other hair types - not my straight and finely textured hair. I really wanted to love it but I did not. However, the root attachment is a definite win and I will be using it when I am trying to add more volume to my hair.

My teenager loves this hair tool...
I ordered the Hot Tools Pro Artist 24K Gold One-Step Dryer & Curler for myself. I tried it a few times, but I prefer a tighter curl than what this tool gives me. However, my teenage daughter loves using it. She has long, fine, straight hair and can create beautiful curls with the vented barrel attachment. She has always been afraid of burning herself with a traditional curling iron, but said she feels much safer using this tool. The comb-like concentrator attachment makes it easy to add volume at the roots of the hair. The owner’s manual mentions that there are additional attachments that can be purchased, which could make this hair tool even more versatile. The cool switch is in a bit of an awkward spot, but you become used to it after a couple of days. The cord is also very long and doesn’t tangle up.I think this would make a nice gift for anyone that enjoys styling their hair. My daughter’s friend saw it at our house and told me she’s asking her mom to get her one for Christmas.

Works wonderfully!
This curler/straightener/dryer is a jack of all trades. I'm not super adept at using a curling iron, but I felt this was pretty easy to use. It also worked great as a straightener with the attachment and did a good job of drying my hair without it getting too frizzy. Overall, a great product!

Not for everyone.
Will work better on fine hair. I have a lot of hair that is more on the curly side, so this is not the best thing to use on my hair. I gave it to my cousin who has finer hair and it actually worked better for her. The design its self is nice. I would have to blow my hair out first which defeats the purpose of this hair tool. Worth the try.
