Micron Bag Holder - (Small Micron Bag Holder with 4" Round Filter Sock and 1" Bulkhead)

This is a very handy and well made sock holder; you will not have an issue attaching it to a rimed tank. I don't have my tank fully set up yet but I filled my main tank today and filtered my salt mix through this filter. this will be installed in my sump once I have it assembled.I would recommend adding a small piece of tubing into the lower end of the fitting this comes with and pointing the threads of the fitting up; with the threads up and no pipe section on the bottom some water will splash and flow around the filter sock and with the threads pointed down the filter sock is a bit difficult to install and remove since it will interfere with the threaded portion of the fitting. A small piece of pipe just short enough to clear the filter sock will fix the splashing issue.

No issues with screws or the acrylic cracking. I rest my sock filter on th rim so no unnessary pulling or yanking.

Had some trouble getting the bolts to tighten and hold in place but after some trial and error the mount is working well.

Works very well for my purpose! I glued it to my diy sump lip. I would have just used the nylon bolts but i did not have fait in their ability to hold up. But for holding a filter sock... yeah it does just that

Clearly made by someone who has NEVER worked with filter socks!!!Screws are too low and useless!!The unit just hangs at an angle.DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
