The media could not be loaded. I volunteered to do sound for a punk rock show at the Alameda Free Library before I remembered that I've only used my PA as a DJ for like 10 years and I no longer had a functioning snake. So I bought a couple of these last minute, as I already had a bunch of CAT5 cable, and they worked perfectly! This also takes up less storage space than a traditional snake.Dead simple to use, and line noise was not an issue at all, which I was worried about in a room full of florescent lights. Definitely a permanent addition to my gear.

I use this to have 1 cable to the front of the room. I put an xlr turn around on 2 channels of this so I can have speakers going out and mics coming in. I like being able to use a cat cable as I also have a box to extend HDMI with cat cable so this gives me a second use for the cat cable.

These XLR snakes essentially use just an Ethernet cable. Very little noise between boxes and eliminates tons of XLR cables running across the band stage. I've personally bought three of these kits and we use them every gig. I wish I would have found them sooner. Recommend to any small band works great for Mics going to the mixer and for in-ear outputs back to the musicians. Build quality is solid, the internal circuit boards seem well fabricated.

I needed this for my recording studio so after trying it with a condenser microphone, wish uses 48v phantom power it DID NOT WORK, so I checked the specifications and I’d find it hidden were it said it will not work with phantom power, it totally messed me up!
