Great addition to a reptile habitat.
The light was just what our Leopard Gecko needed. We used a halogen lamp as it didn’t come with a light bulb.

Great Habitat Light
We purchased this light for our bearded dragon cage. It has offered the perfect temperature, it was easy to set up, great price and works well for his habitat. It is a very sturdy device and there has not been any issues with frequent bulbs burning out.

Good light fixture with temp control
I paired this light fixture with a 75w deep heat projector for my ball python.I put the temp probe on the cool side of the enclosure since we're getting into the colder months, and I want to make sure the minimum temp never falls below 76.It's working out great that way, keeping the hot side in the high 80s and the cool side in the high 70s.Danger noodle seems to like it, he often chills on his climbing branch underneath the projector, and when he's curled up in his hide on the cool end of the enclosure I don't have to worry about the temp dropping too low

Needed a lamp with a temp gage for a gecko. This one is pretty good with some caveats:1. Make sure to also pick up a bulb and that the bulb is correct wattage. 75W gets me to 90-98F. I bought Lucky Herp which have lasted over 4 months. Dont do LED or CFLs.2. Place the temp probe correctly: 3-4in outside of the direct light path.3. If you're using the lamp for light/basking, buy a plug in/shutoff timer too. Simple one from your harderware store is around $10. Your reptile doesnt want 24/7 light!Pros: You instantly have a lamp and temperature control. Easy to setup and change. It's pretty sturdy/durable, as our cats have knocked it off a few times. It feels well constructed as well. The temp is fairly accurate.Neutral: The cost was about the same as buying the lamp and probe seperate. Would probably have bought a Flukers dimmable clamp lamp and a different temp dimmer if I could redo.Cons: I thought it came with the bulb and had to wait a few more days, since most in-person stores don't have incandescents anymore. For the temp probe, I didn't realize the flashing was due to low temp. I thought I set it up wrong. It's been over 4 months since i started using it and I'm still on my first bulb. I was thinking about buying another one to regulate heat overnight, but now, I think I will probably switch this lamp to heat and buy a Flukers for basking. Overall, it's still a good deal and I recommend it.

Works great! A Year Later and still going strong!
I have been using these lamp fixtures for about a month and I’ve been really pleased. I have tested them with a surface temp gun and ambient thermometer and the gauges appear to work well for heat regulation. I am using them with Arcadia heating bulbs (which just barely fit) and have had no issues with the dimming functionality. I also appreciate the small form factor. These fixtures are narrow enough at the lamp opening that I can put them close to each other to concentrate heat in a smaller basking area. My only suggestion for improvement would be an on off switch. Unless I’ve missed it, there is no way to shut these off. I fixed that problem by using a Kasa smart power strip to plug them in and can use the switch on the power strip to turn on and off, as well as setting a timer for automatic on/off. I would recommend this product.Just a quick update - it's almost a year and a half since I started using these and they still work perfectly.

Swings between extremes. Not stable or reliable at all.
Awful. This is supposed to be a dimming thermostat, which should result in much more stable temperatures. I'm using a deep heat projector bulb in this, which can be dimmed, so should be compatible. The temperature with this thing swings wildly from 95 down to 85 and then back up. If I turn it down a degree it is way too low. If I turn it up one degree, it swings way up into the 100s. Either mine is broken, or these are just really poorly made. I'll stick with the non-dimming ones I've been using, as they produce a much more stable and reliable temperature. I'm simultaneously afraid that this one will be too low and also too high.

Works great
We were having trouble keep our leopard geckos cage temperature stable. This light is amazing. It maintains the temp right where you want it.
