Absolutely love this primer and have recommended it to friends. It gives my skin a smooth finish so that my foundation spreads and covers nicely. This has been a game changer for me.

I just started using it today. I bought the trial version. I didn't want to commit to it for $40 plus dollars. It's ok with covering up fine lines and pores. But, it does get cakey if you touch it and rub the area after it's dry, and kind of crumbles off. So don't smear or rub the area after it sets imho.I'll keep trying it and play around with it. Maybe I'll find a better makeup routine to make it work. Idk. Lol.

Ok for travel. Doesn’t work any better than my current primer. My face was still super shiny in my T-Zone by mid-day. It did help keep the foundation from creasing and minimize the look of my larger pores.

I use smashbox primer all the time. It works and I usually do not switch out. It will go over a face cream if needed.

My complexion is oily so I ordered the matte finish and it is really perfect. No oily shine coming through my foundation. Have been using Smashbox primer for years and just discovered the matte one...must be new...or I'm not very observant. I've tried other primers over the years but always come back to Smashbox. I really love this matte primer!
