I’m an ice chewer & was buying 3-4 bags of Sonic ice every week. This ice maker makes the perfect chewing ice. It’s just as good not not better than Sonic ice!! It’s simple to set up. I can put whatever kind of water I want in the reservoir and it starts starts making ice. It does make noise but it isn’t obnoxiously loud. So far it’s working beautifully.

We bought this nugget maker in July of 2024. It worked fine but was loud. I did not find the ice chewable it was crunchy. It is already broken. It stopped making ice in January of this year. I’m now waiting for instructions on returning for a refund. Hopefully we will hear soon.UPDATE WE DID RECEIVE A REFUND!

Ice maker made great ice, if you could handle the sound. Very loud! I’ve used it for only 3 months with regular cleanings and maintenance and the motor seized up. It’s now completely unusable and broken, as it no longer produces any ice. I don’t recommend this product at all. It’s extremely loud (it would wake us up in the middle of the night) and completely broken (even after multiple cleanings and many attempts of troubleshooting). We now have to spend hundred of dollars for a new one to replace it.

I love this!!!! It’s one of my best purchases of this year. It’s the good nugget ice like they have at Chik Fil A. Very easy to operate and isn’t an eyesore on the counter. It is a little noisy but not that bad and you totally get used to it and don’t hear it after a while

We loved the machine until it quit after less than a year. We cleaned and descaled it monthly like the instructions state. We only used filtered water in it. Very disappointed.

The pellet size ice is spot on. It makes a decent amount in a short time-Is easy to fill with water and press the button. But, this is much louder than desired. And needs to be several inches from the wall and other items on the counter to operate per the fans— so you’ll have a medium sized appliance at the edge of your counter and annoying noise when it runs.

Only mild complaint is it sounds like our microwave is always on. Thats and you can tune it out easy. Other than that it’s super cute and very simple machine that makes sonic like ice for you like all the time. I like it a lot!

We have had this ice maker for over 3 months and just love it! Primarily used for ice in our insulated metal water bottles which we fill several times a day. Has increased our daily water consumption immensely! In my bottle ice will last for up to 36 hours.
