I recently removed this cage from my X-T5 and remembered how much I disliked the original grip. With this cage, I can easily handhold while shooting with my XF150600 lens (and I'm a senior citizen!) I like to come up with reasons to remove stars from reviews but, dang it, I couldn't come up with one. Five Stars.

This is borderline essential and makes use far more comfortable. I only wish the strap slot allowed for a slightly thicker strap (compared to the smallrig grip for the X-T50, which does).

More than I expected. Fit and finish is great and makes my big hands much more comfortable on the X-T5. Would highly recommend!

Completely changes the grip of the camera, for good. It feels much better and secure the handle the body having this, also makes ti super easy to use tripods.I would definitely recommend to get this.

I took the Shape Grip to the Paris Olympics! Still learning the camera, the extra grip was handy when using my big tele-zoom lens. I don't know that it's necessary with a small lens, but that's a matter of personal taste. Only negative for me is that it tends to come loose, so you have to tighten the screw from time to time. It has a little fold-out band on it so you don't need a screwdriver. :-)

Awesome product. My absolute favorite addition to my camera, by far. I appreciate its comfort and functionality on a daily basis, every single time I pick my camera up. I cannot overstate how much I like this product. If I lost it or broke it, I would absolutely purchase another one immediately.It gives "just enough" extra grip area to let me hold my X-T5 without worrying about dropping it. Its super comfortable and grippy, and the built in tripod mount is a great bonus. The battery door etc functions perfectly with the grip installed. There are extra screw holes in the base for other accessories such as a BlackRapid type strap, etc. The extra weight is barely noticeable.Highly, highly recommended.

I have big hands and the X-T5 is hard to hold. My first preference would be that Fuji make a vertical grip but since they don't want to I'm glad Smallrig can help fill some of the gap. I bought the Fuji extension when I first bought the camera and it's OK, but it's not a big improvement over having nothing. Smallrig's grip is significantly better. Its both taller and deeper and gives the confidence like I'm holding a big DSLR's grip. For example holding the 50-140 vertical with the Fuji grip did not feel secure, whereas the same lens with Smallrig's grip is easy to hold. The material is soft and it is a little different than the material on the camera, but it's not that noticeable. Off the camera the grip is soft on the edges but when you get it on the camera that goes away and it blends in to the camera really well. Yet another Smallrig win! Keep making great products!!!

Grip feels softer but firm than Fuji grip. I love that the packaging is sustainable. Shout out to the Amazon driver who delivered before 7AM. I needed this for my trip the next day
