This is the perfect little chess ever. My son takes it everywhere with him. It is very easy to carry and the magnetic nature of the pieces is amazing as it makes playing easier. We had it for a long time and it is still as good as the first day! Such a good purchase!

Had this for almost a year now and love playing it. Given it’s smallish size it’s very portable and the magnetic board makes it playing in the car, on grass or out and about very easily! Recommend!

Exactly as advertised, good amount of magnetism in the pieces, bought to learn how to play the game so wasn't looking for a chess set to 'display', serves it's purpose, fine for the price paid, really needs a little drwastring bag for the pieces when put away as would be loose otherwise.

My granddaughter started learning to play chess at school, so I bought this because the piece design is similar to the ones they use there.The set is compact when closed, and all the pieces fit inside the board without any difficulty. The plastic clip on the case hold it closed well. In play, the magnets on the pieces hold them to the board without any difficulty - even upside down.I'm really impressed with this little chess set. Hopefully my granddaughter and me will be using it for years to come.

The set is great, nice and compact but big enough to play on. The only thing I’d complain about is that it doesn’t come with a spare queen for promotions and most sets Iv seen that are similar came with one.
