So had the VDL Portable Power Station, 800W/510Wh for 3 days and came with 78% charged, so gave it a full charge off 100% tried it with my 12v Alpicool , it's been running on ECO mode for the last 2 and half days and still have 31% I've calculated that it takes 1hr 40mins for 1% of the power station power, and calculate to 71.4hrs which in my books is a game changer and for the price, it's perfect and affordable compared to the likes of jackery where you'd get a 500W and keep the fridge freezer going for just 4 to 5 hrs ... So my overall thoughts and for anyone else, it's definitely a worthy buy at an affordable price... Should you get it, most definitely..There's another called Allpower 700W but it's had quite a few negatives and some major issues, so for reliability the VDL Portable Power Station, 800W/510Wh is the one you need .. I'll give this power station an update in a couple of months time...Update after only 3 charges my power unit is not charging my VDLPOWER DC charger, the solar panel is working and the car cigarette lighter is working , I've contacted VDL and will update soon...Reduce star rating to 3 until further notice..Update after getting in touch with VDLPOWER after my charging unit stopped working, VDL were prompt to rectify my issue and with proof off pictures, they sent me new one out..VDLPOWER work hard to help there customers.. great company ...UpdateOverall this power station with a solar panel 100 watt runs a alpicool 12v forever with no issues, super impressed and it's definitely worth it's money 💰😉👍

Great item. I’d ordered another brand which was quite honestly useless compared to the Vdl. So far it’s been brilliant.

The intention for buying this portable power pack was to recharge cordless tool batteries when out working, this it does without any hassle. An 80W battery charger will use about 10% of the power packs charge so not too bad.If you can recharge the power station from your vehicle or from a foldable solar panel then you're flying. A good backup i reckon.

use this regularly and it exceeds all expectations, power and charges all my tech when out and about, lasts for days without needing a re charge and when it does need charging it only takes a couple of hours well impressed thanks.

Excellent product and seller

My unit arrived faulty. Initially I had some sporadic communications from the VDL support dept attempting to resolve the issue. They eventually agreed to supply me with a new unit after providing photographic evidence of the issue. I did this over a week ago and have had no contact from them since. Unless I have contact from them now - in which case I will update my experience here - my recommendation is that you don't deal with this company.Update: the power of the review...after posting this review, I finally had a communication from VDL. They said that they were out of stock of this unit until the end of the month and offeredme a refund, which I see is now "pending" on my card account. Still less than impressed, but have added 2 starts onto my review in acknowledgement of them eventually resolving the issue

Small, quick to charge using solar panels (in sunny best), lasts quite a while when not using power hungry AC devices.
