Very Effective Sandpaper
This roll of 3M Cubitron is the highest quality sandpaper I have ever used.On one side, it is velcro which makes it quick and easy to attach and change over once it has worn down. The roll is easy to tear the amount you need for your sander and is very convenient. The sandpaper itself is great. It is applied in a pattern which does allow it to quickly and effectively remove material and even allows the dust to get through to your dust extractor. The sandpaper also seems to last a long time without having to change to a new piece which saves both time and money.Overall, I would highly recommend it.

Excellent abrasion and wear resistance
Having previously used the 3M cubitron 125mm sanding discs on a random orbital sander and being suitably impressed with the performance it was an easy choice to try the rectangular version for use on my Makita finishing sander. You get a roll of easy tear sheets ready to be attached via clamp plates and I've found you don't really need to punch extra holes in the sheets as they have enough mesh to remove most of the dust anyway. As with the circular version these sheets are very good at material removal with a longer than average life between changes compared to other brands, the cubitron design seems to be pretty effective and efficient at what it does and at a fairly reasonable price for the performance, I rarely use anything else nowadays as these are difficult to beat for most amazing jobs.

Fantastic 150 grit abrasive, hook & loop compatible, mesh backed, easy to cut to size and tear
This roll of mesh sandpaper arrived in a 3M branded box covered in a printed design that also features a QR code linking to the 3M auto adhesives website, which has more info and data about the products they offer. The box has a couple of perforated tear away sections for feeding the end of the roll out of the box to make it convenient to grab a piece when needed from a rack or shelving. Inside the box the end of the roll is secured in place with a length of green masking tape and removing that and feeding the end of the roll out of the chosen opening is all you need to do to get started with this.At predetermined distances the roll has perforations that make it simple to tear off specific sized pieces by hand and you can also cut or trim it to any custom size as required with a pair of scissors. Though, I wouldn’t suggest using your favourite pair as they will take a bit of damage from the abrasive grit on the sheet. The 150 grit on the provided roll is spot on for preparing wood for a finish and it does an excellent job when used with a sanding block, by hand and with a palm sander.I tend to buy mid or budget grades of sandpaper and this stuff is massively more effective and long-lasting by comparison, I can see why professionals are happy to pay the premium for the 3M stuff as a time-saving measure. I’ve had no problems with a variety of materials including woods, plastics, and metals from my pile of scraps.Happy to recommend this and it lives up to the reputation and expectations that come with the 3M branding. If you’re willing to pay the asking price and happen to be looking for stuff that is more resistant to clogging up, has better dust extraction and just generally longer lasting, this is the stuff to grab.

It's 3m Cubitron II sand paper, it's good
3M Cubitron II is by far the best sandpaper I've used. Great at material removal, and gives a super finish. When you also take into account the backing paper design which allows any tool with dust extraction to do a superb job, you've got a great sandpaper.

3M Cubitron II
I'm a competent DIY'er and through various projects use a fair amount of sandpaper. 3M has always been a reliable brand for other stuff and this sanding paper is no different. For me, the advantages of this over other cheaper paper is that this doesn't clog the paper up, the dust extraction is better and it seems to remove material quicker. With a random orbital sander the paper can be cut to the shape you need. The paper sticks well to the sander pad. Same goes for a manual sanding pads, the paper can be just cut to the size required. The 150 grit that I received is a medium grit that suits most applications.Recommended.
