V-Twin 18-8328 - Manual Primary Chain Adjuster Kit

It was exactly what i wanted...the only issue i had was if you had to use factory spacers...several people said it was the same as SE version an it was...so i went an looked at there instruction...it is alittle on the noisy side but as i keep riding the noise continues to drop...an they should issue instructions cause if i had not went an looked an SE i would have not known to bend the metal tabs to keep bolts from backing out...all in all i love the performance from it... So here is the intruction from SE tensioner

NOISY!Removed OEM HD adjuster and installed this. The whirring sound is loud and annoying. Not sure what I’ll install next. Had Haydensm6. Don’t like those because you can’t tell when the springs break... and they do.The Baker Attitude adjuster is $250. C’mon.Wish Harley just made the old style KISS adjuster.Good luck.

This part is a dead ringer for the harley SE adjuster. Except for the color. I have installed both so I am sure. Difference in price over a hundred dollars. Scrap the auto adjuster before it damages your bearings!

Do not buy 5k after install and the guide has shattered

This tensioner is exactly the same as HD screaming eagle only not red anodized and has the exact same instructions.Good quality and better price than HD.

Same as SE adjuster for half the money. Super easy install and adjustment. Works great!

Changing my review now that I've had a closer look and installed this part. Stay away, this is garbage, there is no way the manufacturer ever fitted this to a bike. The shoe is too thin and crap material for how far it extends forward without support and prone to breakage, the adjustment screw is way too long and contacts the inner primary rendering it useless. You can attain proper chain tension without the adjustment screw but the poor shoe material renders this part useless as anything but a pretty paper weight.

Simple install and works perfectly. After about 100 miles it quiets down.I love it.
