I tried using a vinyl patch kit to repair stretch mark type scratches in the window pane area on top of my cars door panel. But The scratches weren't severe enough to warrant the use of fillers, etc that came in the kit. So I tried using my heat gun as seen on Youtube. No real results Then, unfortunately I used a texture cloth from the repair kit along with low heat gun and ripped a chunk of vinyl out of the section covered by texture cloth. Now large enough to use full kit repair. That didnt go well, as I couldnt smooth out the surface enough to look passable. That brought me to the leather repair tape. The first ptoduct I used looked good, but was too thick to blend with original vinyl. Then I bought this product, a larger and thinner piece of leather. I intended to to cut out enough to cover the whole top panel. My cut was off though, and I have an obvious seam. Even so, this product looks better than my efforts deserv. I plan to try again by cteating a template of the whole area.. I wish this product came with a template maker. Then it would be a perfect product! But this is a good product as is, and if used by someone with reasonable talent and patience, it will do a great job of leather/vinyl surface repair

Had a worn out area on a driver's seat lumbar support that needed some help. With somewhat limited expectations I ordered this product. Well, I have to say it far exceeded those expectations. It's easy to shape, the adhesive is effective and, unless you're looking for it, you'd hardly know it was there. I waited a few months before posting a review so I could see how well it would wear. Gotta say, that's been better than expected, too. Definitely recommend!

I used on a bench seat on my side by side. It was a high-wear spot and I wasn’t sure it it could handle all the wear. It’s worked quite well. I suggest watching a video or two with application tips- I used a hair dryer on it to warm it up after applying to ensure best adhesion and it sticks very well.

I just bought a 2015 Subaru Forester with the interior front seats in poor shape. I purchased the gray color tape and it's a perfect match and covers up the rips and worn places so nicely. It was so easy to apply. I'm very pleased with this product! Would absolutely purchase again!

I bought this for a rip in my couch. Though the color didn't match, that was my fault. I put them on and they worked great for a few months and then they started peeling and cracking. They are difficult to remove, but I managed to and put another piece in its place. It will do, but not a long term solution as I wanted it to be.

Slowly overtime we are doing upgrades to our 1965 Mustang Convertible, focusing on mechanical and safety first. We were getting tired of looking at the torn seem in the seat of the drivers side. Knowing interior items will be last, I tried this tape to cover the seem and it’s tear, and it looks much better than it was. While this will not be a permanent fix, it works well for now.

so this patch works great you can tell the difference obviously being that it’s a patch, but it appears very well to the material. The only downfall is if it’s a heavy traffic area on a couch or seat, it will turn and peel, but if it’s a light use or have a cover for your seating, it’ll do the job perfectly

This is awesome, my dog sits on my black leather chair. She is a collie and she was scratching the chair before laying in the chair. She completely ripped through the leather. this was easy to cut and fit on the section that was destroyed. It looks like new
