Method1--Pat the pillow insert from both sides towards the center several times 
Step1: Unroll the pillow insert and fluff the pillow 
Step2: Grasp the pillow insert on both sides and push in towards the center several times 
Step3: add air to the pillow by punching it

Method2--Dry pillow inserts in dryer with dryer balls 
Place the pillow insert in the dryer on a low heat, along with some dryer balls. The balls will help to break up any clumps of fill and restore the pillow insert to its maximum fluffiness. 
Remember to give your pillow insert a good fluff regularly to keep it comfortable and supportive! 
You also could get inserts that are one size larger than your pillow covers.

I returned mine as they didn’t fluff hardly at all
