Criacr LED Motion Sensor Night Lights, Motion Sensor Lamp, Auto On/Off

In my mind this is the best solar light in its class. It's slim, has a large solar panel and a large illuminated surface, throws light over 3m and is probably seen from space when on. It also managed to have functioned for two years before packing up. I took the unit apart and was pleasantly surprised to see it work on a standard 18650 battery, the issue though was unfortunately in the unit itself. I measured capacity of the included battery and it was 1200mAh which is reasonable.I bought another one now and first thing I did was again to measure capacity of the battery included: 900mAh - this is awful, gentlemen. What I would suggest is that you buy a branded 18650 cell such as 3500mAh LG INR18650-MJ1 then we'll be talking. The unit should become what it was designed to be! We don't live in Cyprus, British sun (or lack of thereof) will quickly deplete the included Chinese cell and lights will go out.Overall, don't take my complaint about the battery as a fault of the unit, a descent 18650 cell cost over 5 GBP and you can't possibly expect one of those in a device that costs 11 quid delivered but as an upgrade I would highly recommend you buy a descent cell, fully charge it then insert in the device. This will give it an edge it deserves!

I am a born cynic. I bought this item because I realised how much money I was wasting on halogen PIR spotlights in. My garden.. My garden is north facing so I thought this might be a waste of time. It wasn't, it lights up the whole garden 8m X 15m enough so you can see what my dog is up to when I let him out. And it lasts well into the night and into the morning. I have had it for 1 month now and I am still amazed by it. If I ever have a power cut, I will just bring it inside to light up the living room.If you want one then look no further, it really does the job.I didn't get mine for free in return for a good review, unlike many of the reviews I read when I was looking for a solar light. So my review is truthful and unbiased. Very happy to pay for this though.

Simple issue, in a good location but does not charge up enough during day. 2 - 3 hours of dim light at night and your done till the next day, This means that when you need the light to turn on to high power (via sensor) it has run out of power already. For me may have actually been ideal if it had a off then sensor mode. The dim light mode is the products downfall. I have opted for a battery operated light now. I have to say this light had me up and down the ladder as it also seemed to behave erratically at times, possibly due to being in a low charge state all the time. By my estimation to operate in the British winter (if the product continues to insist on giving out a dim glow constantly) the solar panel needs to be 5 times bigger.

Great little product, I bought this to replace an older type of solar LED security light which had failed. This one is more compact in design, incorporating the solar panel rather than it being a separate unit as in my previous light. The light is much brighter and it has a constant lower level light during the hours of darkness, coming to full brightness when the PIR is activated by movement. Although there are two screw holes in the top of the case there is an option to hang it on one screw with a mounting hole at the rear. I hung mine on one of the screws I left in place from my former light. Easy job, took all of two minutes to have it up and running.

I am so very pleased with these lights, they have exceeded my expectations. Most solar things i have purchased are a little weak if the sun is not out much. These however seem to be amazing even kept in shady spot or on shady/no sun type days. No matter the weather by dark they are working all night with ease. The motion sensor works great and the brightness of the light when its on lights up steps or pathways with ease. Great purchase and would highly recommend.

So far this has done a great job. I had in in front of a shed and it did wonders to illuminate the front when I walked by. It did not illuminate often when I had it above a door where the dogs would set it off from the inside of the house (seemed barking could set it off even, but that's probably my imagination as it was probably a neighbour's cat or a hedgehog). Anyway, I would definitely buy another for areas that you're not in a lot but that would be nice to have illuminated when you needed it.

When first installed I awaited first evening then unit did not activate. The on/off push button is at the back of the unit. I took unit down from selected position and reset button to ON You get no indication by pressing the button if you are on ON/OFF.After re-setting the button the light has worked perfectly.If the ON/OFF was relocated to the FRONT of the unit this would avoid having to dismantle from fixed positionI don't know what setting is when item delivered (probably ON) but it is possible to push the button when first examining the lamp

The item works as described and manages at the moment at least (lots of sun) to last through the entire night.Once dusk settles in the light comes on in dimmed mode giving a nice aura to its local area. The pir sensor picks up from a good angle at up to about 6metres away even though I've fixed it at only about 5 and half foot height. Once the pir picks up movement it goes to full brightness giving a good coverage of light to the area in which it is situated.Had a little issue with the item initially which the seller resolved promptly and to my satisfaction, so buy with confidence.
