Pretty damn good.
Much easier to use than normal box cutters, and super sharp. The trick is unscrewing the cap on the end to loosen up the blade.

Everyone should have one!
Hands down, this is the best blade I've ever used. The weight is perfect, not too heavy and not so light that you can't be accurate with your cuts. The blade breaks off easily and straight, not like those cheap ones the break off a piece of the next one too. The locking system is top notch, you tighten it by twisting the end. It's not just one of those that clicks when you slide the blade out, then loses it's lock when making a cut. Word of advice, its very sharp and will slice through skin like butter if youre not careful (i know this from personal experience, but it was absolutely from being careless) Definitely recommend.

Great knife for doing vinyl
Pros, I like the weight and fit for doing detailed trimming on wraps.Cons, mine came in with a broken plastic cap,so I pitched it. As long as you retract the blade it's not needed.

You'll want to use it for everything, buy more blades!
I love this knife!!!I had a minor issue with the first one and the company was absolutely fantastic about it, I can't speak highly enough of them. This is a super comfortable knife regardless of the crafting you're using it for, and the swap to an aluminum body was such a game changer for me. I thought the standard plastic version of this was functional and easy to use but this one blew that out of the water.Excellent design, easy to keep clean and replace blades when it's time Cap is large enough to keep track of it easily when it's needed. I'd love to see an option later on to come with more blades out of the get go but it's okay that it doesn't, that definitely isn't a game breaker; the ones that come with it are sharp and ready to go without issue and it's quick to get more.

Not Hardly
Best Damn Knife Ever Made? That's what it claims. It doesn't live up to that hype. And it all comes down to the red plastic blade gripper.First there are teeth on the inside of the metal handle that should engage with the red slider to give a positive locking point when extending the blade. This feature was clearly intended, it does not work. At all. This is a big fail.Second, this knife is intended to hold 30 degree high precision snap-off blades. Those blades have a hole at the back that should provide a positive engagement point for holding the blade secure. This handle (the red piece) does not actually engage with that hole. It just pinches the blade on both sides and relies on very little friction to hold it in place. This is not at all secure and actually dangerous. Plus the friction of removing old blades and replacing with new will wear this plastic piece down quickly, making it even more dangerous. These two failures mean the only way to positively secure the blade is by screwing down the locking screw making this holder a fixed blade holder. That may be fine for the home hobbyist, but these 30 degree high precision blades are the standard for vehicle wrap installers and I want a holder that will secure the blade and be quickly/easily retractable. That is clearly NOT this holder. You don't wrap vehicles with fixed blade knives. I expected better from Vvivid.I am thoroughly disappointed. The metal body, the powder coated finish, and feel in hand is what sold me on purchasing this in the first place. Those qualities are nice, but they're not enough.Definitely pass on this one. For less than half the price go with the NT Cutter A-553P and you won't be disappointed.Best Damn Knife Ever Made? Not hardly.

This is the first 9mm knife that I have found to be a real tool.
This is the first 9mm knife that I have found to be a real tool.Every other knife seems to be a disposable ‘Craft’ knife in comparison. This looks to be a forever tool.

Nice finish. But design itself leaves one scratching their head. Impractical and unintuitive.
Honestly, they need to go back to the drawing board with this design. The execution of is 10/10, however it doesn't make any sense. I read other 1 and 2 star reviews and thought SURELY these are NPC's who do not understand how some very minor casting lines could cause a couple of precision pieces to not move together as designed.. But nope, it's not that at all. This knife is flawed in its design. I am sure some people are happy with it, and that is fine. They just have posted a review before actually using the knife. The knob at the rear does nothing important regarding adjustment. It does allow it to come apart, and remove the blade and blade holder. However it's not necessary because nothing is actually except a hope and a wish is holding the blade in the blade holder. In fact when you slide out the blade and slide it back in several times in a row, you've got a 50% shot at the blade falling out onto the ground. Seriously, what were they thinking? I think I know. They were thinking that the cool name, packaging and finish of the knife itself would draw in the gadget enjoyer, and it did. I thought it looked really cool and quality. Which it is. But it's impractical and non intuitive. I am returning it and buying a different 30 degree knife from a different company.
