No more raw plugs needed!
Saw a builder friend use one of these a couple of weeks ago to fix his oak stairway to a brick party wall and was amazed by how quick and easy it all looked.Given I’ve encountered so many problems with rotating rawlplugs even though I’ve used the correct drill size in the first place, it was great to see there is a simpler alternative which also does away with an unnecessary product.I instantly purchased a box of 100mm to help build my stud wall. It was so easy to just drill a 6mm hole in the wall with a masonry bit and then screw one of these in, knowing it was going directly bite the masonry without the need of a rawlplug. My first thought was these screws would lose all grip if they were unscrewed and reinserted into the same hole. Not the case! I needed to remove some of the screws a few times (changed the size of wood) and inserted them again without them losing grip. The screwdriver bit (Torx T-30) which is needed for these screws is included in the pack. As for bit itself, it gives amazing grip even without the need to put a lot of pressure on the screw, which is not the case with many of the other types. In fact, I loved using them so much I ended up using the screws to complete the entire stud wall even though it was wood to wood.WHAT I LIKED:• Doesn’t require a rawlplug.• Torx T-30 bit is included and give great grip.• Screws retain grip inside masonry even if unscrewed a few times.• Great for joining wood to wood too• So easy to use.• Does away with an unnecessary plastic product

Seriously impressive
I have just bought these to fit a rain awning to the side of the house. They are excellent and very easy to useDrill a 6mm hole and then screw these in using the proved T30 Torx bit. I used an impact driver to do this and it was dead easy. Before doing the work, I did try them out in an old block of concrete. Once the hole was drilled, the drove in beautifully and were rock solid. I don't think the awning is going to move.BTW - you can both screw in and unscrew from the hole at a later date and these will then go back in just as firm. Also, I have experimented near the edge of a piece of brick and, provided you can drill the hole without splitting the brick, putting these in doesn't seem to blow out the side of the brick; probably because they cut a threat rather than expanding to get a grip.Highly recommended.

Not what I wanted a bit to long.
They look sturdy but they are a bit long for what i wanted but I will use them.

No More RawlPlugs!
I was looking at buying a similar screw from a well-known store but they didn't have any in stock in the three stores in my town, alternative stores had smaller packs but the cost per screw was insane.Saw these for a bargain price with next-day delivery which was perfect as I needed them urgently.I was a bit skeptical as I tend to buy high-quality screws and wasn't sure what these would be like but I'm happy to confirm that these are identical to well know brand name screws (probably from the same factory?)I cannot vouch for the included bit as I used my own impact-rated bits for my impact driver but out of the 72 screws I used I didn't have any issues with the bit fitting in or rounding off of the head. The screws went in very easy and as a bonus, they can be removed and refitted into the same whole without issue as they cut their own threads. They even went in easy by hand with a T30 bit in a ratchet which I had to do on a few while waiting for my batteries to charge. The only issue I encountered was that sometimes the 6mm hole drilled would fill with dust and dirt from the threads being cut so I'd have to remove the screw and clear out the hole, this was probably more of an issue for me as I was drilling vertically, I imagine the threads will self clear the hole correctly in horizontal applications.

Very simple to use and effective
Very easy to use just drill a 6mm pilot hole first. I was attaching wooden posts to a brick wall, once I lined the post up I drilled the pilot hole through the post and then into the brick, the simply drive the screw through the post into the brick. Just make sure the hole is deep enough for the length of the screw. Awesome product.

Strong, sturdy fixing
I bought these for two projects, to hold down a large metal gazebo and to secure the timbers of my hand built workshop. In both cases they were great. Needed to drill a decent length pilot hole so it was easier to screw these in with the the torque adapter. Nice touch providing the plastic end caps too. Very happy with the results

Good Solid Fixings
I'm using these to hold a wooden frame to a concrete greenhouse base. The fixings went into the pilot holes with no problems at all and the wooden framework is held solid and will not budge. The drillbit that came with the fixings is well made and so far has done the job well.
