I used LinDream Mandoline Slicer to make slices of varying thickness of cucumber, carrots, apples, it did a great job. Also handled julienne cuts for carrots and apples. The mandoline slicer is easy to use and clean and the instructions on the box are clear. Also provided is a safety glove, a plastic holder and a cleaning brush. Only additional thing I would suggest is a container for the sliced vegetables to fall into directly.

This was a gift for my mom. She loves to make her own potato chips. The morning after she opened it she called me to tell me that everything in her whole house was sliced and it was her favorite gift of the year. lol. I opened it when it arrived to make sure everything was in order. I was a pretty solid slicer. The dial doesn't necessarily adjust thickness of cut but its to raise and lower the the plate that dices things. (the blades that stick up).

The first time I tried to used the slicer the legs broke off.

I can cut slices and strips of different thicknesses and lengths. The blades are sharp so the cuts are consistent and precise. I love it and also got one more for my friend.

Legs fell off everytime I tried to use it.

After I received this product & let my wife try to use it. This product has 2 ways to slice potato apple carrot & tomato into thin & thick strip as she needs for eating or cooking. This product is nice, safe & easy to use & clean. My wife is very happy with this product & expect to get 2 more this kind slicers for our grown-up children as their holiday gifts.

This mandoline is super sharp out of the box and cuts paper thin. The safety holder is easy to use and the adjustable blade dial is intuitive and easy to use. Cleanup is also very easy and safe using the included brush. Overall, the set is good quality and cuts more easily than my super benriner japanese mandolin.
