The glasses are Riedel quality, but appropriately vintage sized
I've seen a few reviewers who are disappointed the Nick and Nora glasses are so "small." Obviously these reviewers have never watched any of "The Thin Man" movies from the 1930s! Nick and Nora drank prodigiously, but the glasses were tiny. We're talking glasses that would have been common (checks notes) 90 years ago!With these glasses your dry Martini can be scaled back to the original size before we all decided to super-size everything. A classic Martini was 2-3 ounces...and these glasses hold 4 ounces (filled to the rim). In contrast, a "modern" martini glass may hold up to 10 ounces! That added capacity often results - particularly for home mixologists who don't have to worry about a profit margin - in a double-martini being considered standard based on glass capacity.These glasses are what they say they are...classic-sized glasses in a size consistent with what Nick and Nora would have used. Pour yourself a libation and stream one of the classic Thin Man movies.

Great! Go for these, and not the straight-walled Nick and Nora glasses
The inward-curving lip of this glass creates the classic Nick and Nora shape. The glass has great clarity, and narrows to a strong, even, thin lip. The thinness and uniformity of a glass's lip is indicative of quality, and these are very high quality. If you were to be served a drink in one of these at a cocktail bar, you'd know they care about their presentation and their guest experience (and aren't cheaping out on thick glasses.)

These are elegant. It makes cocktailing fun and responsible. It was never meant that a cocktail was supposed to be the size of your head. Enjoy these and impress your guests. And, you can't beat the crystal of Riedel. Just a classic. Cheers!!!

Cutest Small Glasses Ever
Love the shape and the size and that they are made by Reidel. My husband makes Manhattans using 1 oz of bourbon, sweet vermouth, bitters with a Luxardo cherry (from Amazon) with a splash of the juice which fits the glass. Yummy and satisfying since we can have two instead of one!! We did lose one when it was picked up by the top of the glass - hence the 4 rating. About half an inch of the glass came off like it had been scored all the way around. WEIRD! But I would purchase again. Although we are Amazon shoppers, these were not purchased Amazon. I would say where but don't know if it is okay to say.
