My wife and I are in our 70's and our memory isn't what is use to be. Our neurologist recommended getting mental exercise books like this to help keep our minds active. We found this book to be a lot of fun and challenging. It also gives us a chance to collaborate on the more difficult challenges. The print is large enough for seniors who have poor vision. It's great for seniors who want to stay sharp.

Pros: Nice softcover with large print. Good variety of puzzle types.Cons: several errors found in different puzzles. Lack of instructions for some games which would be good for beginners to have (I.e. - not everyone know how to play sudoku without the rules as a reminder), clues for crosswords are not well worded, or make sense.Overall - this was okay but I’ve found others that are better.

I ordered this for my 73 year old mother who has early stages of dementia. I have ordered her several crossword and puzzle books but this one is her favorite of all. She said it’s easy enough for her to do but still a challenge. There is one puzzle (the sudoku she can not figure out) but the rest are fun and keep her busy. In her words “I just love this book it’s so much fun and I love it” I would definitely recommend for seniors.

I enjoyed the variety of puzzles, even some coloring pages, which I had not done before. I felt like a kid coloring again, and found that it helped with dexterity. I would buy another edition of this publication.

The varied subjects plus the different levels of difficulty make this senior puzzle challenge one of the best I’ve seen. It could be a great gift or maybe a basis for group game activity.
