My daughter needs small weights for her 7th grade science fair project, are these appropriate or for small children only?
Are the sizes matching? Example: if I used five 1g pieces, then would they equal the same height overall as one 5g?
I am hoping to use these in an 8th grade classroom for students to compare different masses...are these masses accurate?
What is the total weight for all combined pieces? I'd like to use these in a ship building activity- are they waterproof too?

Neat and easy to store and carry.
Thrilled with these. Perfect for taking to students for home tutoring. Light, neat and variety of weights which I use with the bucket balance for teaching mass/weight.

Wonderful learning tool
This is a brilliant product for teaching my children about different weights, they can see how many times each weight can fit into another and after weighing them on the kitchen scales they are accurate.

Good set of weights but not suitable for under 5 years; too many bits and too small. They look good packed in the container but only fit in again if carefully arranged, which is beyond the ability of most small children. If you buy the scales half the weights will fit in the little draw.

Bought to go with a pan balance but can be used on their own for adding and subtracting games. Bright colours and durable plastic, can be neatly tidied away back in their box.
