Forenza FA15COE Cello Strings for 1/2 and 1/4 Size

As expected. Brought as replacement strings for a student viola.

We have an older student 3/4 size cello that we haven't changed the strings on for years. I thought that changing the strings would be a good idea and so ordered these.They are cheap for a reason! They sound tinny and there is a metallic ring when they are played. Given 2 stars because they do work, were easy to put on and so merited an extra star just because it was a cheap way of learning how to restring a cello - and also not to buy cheap strings once you have progressed beyond beginner beginner. They do sound awful - but as the old strings on the 3/4 cello sounded great to us - until we bought a more expensive cello with jargar strings and were able to actually hear a massive difference in the sound quality - they might be ok for very early players - but not if you want a good sound quality.We took these off and put the old strings back on again.Sorry but you get what you pay for ☹️Lesson learned

A string snapped as I tuned cello , but I suppose you get what you pay for and they are cheap strings! Perfectly ok for a beginner cellist !

Great so far...only had on a week but much better sounding than last set of strings. Prompt delivery too!

Good quality strings for the price

These are so bad I'll be buying a replacement set immediately. I got them for my daughter who is grade 2, so I'm not expecting much, but I honestly don't think I can tolerate being in the same house. They make a tinny sound with a metal rattle. It's an excruciating noise. She's been learning for two years so I know it's the strings not her!

D string snapped off at the bottom as I was attaching it. C string has a fault in it halfway down. Not impressed.

Non siamo professionisti. Al nostro livello amatoriale questo prodotto va benissimo - di sicuro le corde sono migliori rispetto alle corde originali del nostro violoncello Made in China :)

Für Anfänger oder als Übergang kann ich diese Saiten empfehlen!Persönlich mag ich den Klang und kann bislang nicht klagen.

El sonido es mejor que el que ofrecían las cuerdas originales del cello básico que tenemos, así que, viendo el precio de cuerdas presumiblemente más profesionales que se desperdiciarían en nuestro instrumento, la compra ha sido óptima. Falta por comprobar la duración, eso sí.
