Gehwol Ingrown Toenail Softening Fluid 15ml for Ingrowing Toenails

I think my big toenail was borderline in growing as I was starting to feel a bit of pain from it. I applied this daily and it really helped! It stopped the pain and made the nail soft enough to stop digging in. The applicator makes it super easy to use and definitely recommend this product for those just about starting ingrowns.

This fluid is excellent for relieving discomfort from ingrown toenails. It softens the skin and nail area within a few uses, making it much easier to manage and less painful. Easy to apply with the built-in dropper, and a little goes a long way. Great value for money for such a targeted and effective treatment.

Why did you choose this product over others?:I was a bit apprehensive about this because I didn’t understand how it would help. But took the plunge as the price was good. My foot is so much better in only a day! I’ve been applying a couple drops every few hours and have gone from barely being able to walk to having shoes back on and minor discomfort. Love this!!

The jury is still out on this. I've been using on my son's ingrown toenail for three months. It seems to prevent infection. There is definitely less pus. Nail is softer though still ingrowing and too sore for me to cut (I would if it were my own toe!) It doesn't sting him, even though it's practically an open wound. A bottle does last for AGES. And, unlike other reviews, the dropper on the bottle is absolutely fine, don't try to shake the liquid out, just hold the bottle at about 45 degrees aiming it where you need it, and just press on the side of the nozzle to bend it slightly and you will get a perfect drop. I've been using two drops on my son's toe.But all in all I think it's more of a positive than negative experience with this.

Really impressed. After just three days of twice daily treatment the ingrowing bit of nail was soft enough to bend out from where it was impacting and then get clipped off. Instant relief.

My two big toes were soooo sore that I could hardly walk as they were very painful.I had almost given up on finding anything that might work when I found Gehwol This is a very easy name to forget completely, so it's difficult to remember when you need to : (Anyway, I ordered it and, as soon as it arrived, I applied it.Honestly, within less than 30 minutes it actually worked. Now, the following day, it was back almost to the same level of pain but, it's now been several days and my two big toes are getting better every day. When I'm out walking I feel almost no pain at all.The one thing that made me almost give this four stars, is the nozzle. It really is awful and makes the whole process much more difficult than it need be because, no matter how you try, it's really hard to get a full drop out of that bottle the way that silly nozzle is.So, here's a great tip that will avoid you having the frustration I experienced.It's very simple. As you can see in the attached photo, I just cut about 2cm off the nozzle. I used a small saw but you may be able to do it just fine with decent pair of scissors.Then, use a small paintbrush to dip into the bottle and...............hey presto ! You can now apply a decent amount of the fluid to your toes in seconds as opposed to minutes.Now, you're going to have some Happy Toes : )
