NOT for reading a book!
After much research, I decided on this magnifier because it was described as lightweight, had no solid edge, is lighted, and is indicated as "distortion-free".The Bad: This magnifier is NOT distortion-free! In fact, in trying to use it for reading, it's nearly impossible, because you can only focus on a few words at a time while the surrounding text is distorted. This requires your hand to be in constant motion, moving the magnifier across the page while reading...an unnatural thing to have to do, in my opinion. I tried varying the distance between the magnifier and the page. When it's closer to the page, there is less distortion, but it still requires your hand to be in constant motion, moving across the page.The Good: I will say the quality of the lens seems really nice. It is crystal clear and feels substantial. It comes with a nice carrying pouch with pull ties. It is ergonomically designed and feels good in the hand. This would be a nice little magnifyer to keep in the kitchen or bathroom to take a quick up-close look at something small, or for reading the small print on medicine bottles and such.Summary: I would have given this magnifier a 5-star if it hadn't been misrepresented as "for reading" and "distortion-free". I ended up purchasing a Carson Optical Pro-Series Magnivisor lighted headset, with 4 different lenses. It's not sexy sitting in bed at night with this thing on your head, but it's perfect for reading a good book for hours.

Great product really gets the job done especially the light!!
Well I bought this on a whim thinking maybe I’ll use it and I use it every day not only to look at my very small print on my phone or instructions , directions all that kind of stuff this is a great great product good price point & and very easy to use very easy!!

This is a great Magnifier with a bright light.
I got this for my next door neighbor. She has a hard time seeing the small print. It has really helped her in the grocery store as well.

Pretty good magnifier but color becomes distorted in the more powerful lens.

the on/off button has come off; still can turn it off and on but have to use finger.....

Magnifying glass works well
The magnifying glass is great for enlarging images numbers letters.Unfortunately the light did not work. Keeping it for the magnifying glass.
