Great taste, very Japanese style
I’m Japanese, as Japanese love this soba. Great savory taste, easy to make.

Doesn’t taste remotely like soba in Japan

I liked it
Pretty delicious. Note you need to boil water in a separate container and then pour it into the bowl as the bowl is Styrofoam and should not be microwaved (lest it melts). These noodles are a "thicker", "pastier" noodle than regular top ramen packaged noodles. It has darker grain spots typical of soba. Didn't get limp and sticky in the soup.Comes with a prefried tempura veggie cake you can put on top of the noodles before serving. The veggies mostly seemed like onions (thing of putting French's fried onions like those you see on green bean casseroles at thanksgiving). The flavouring wasn't too salty. Not as sweet as I wanted, but I liked it.

Good with a little tweaking
This brand of ramen/japanese instant noodles is my fav. The broth on this tastes just like what I get at the restaurant, salty bonito flavor. I was happy to see it did contain bonito (a fish) flakes and also mackerel flakes. However, there is a trick to this soup: the tempura is a in a big "cake", smash it in the package to pieces, as small as you can get it (the tempura soup in a restaurant is always small pieces of fresh tempura since this isn't like fresh break it up), the package will say to put the soup mix in then boiling hot water and let it sit 3 minutes and then add tempura, instead add the soup mix, the broken tempura pieces, then the water and let sit 5 minutes, this will soften the tempura pieces and greatly improve the taste. Sometimes I add a sunny side up egg to it, also great

Best ever
This is the best ramen you’ll ever have. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive.
