You can change the battery by inserting a small screwdriver in the gap adjacent to the time adjustment knob. See photo for battery type.That said, it did not work out of the box, and I did not have a matching battery to substitute, so I sent it back.It is a handsome little clock if it works.

The clock came all tarnished, the battery was dead. Don't waste your money! To return is not worth the gas, to replace battery, is more than watch. I guess you get what you pay for!

After buying a replacement battery it actually worked exactly what I wanted it for, small clock for my Mini Cooper. Poor quality control, good inexpensive device.

Ordered two-- one with a blue background and one with a black background. When received, the blue background clock didn't work and it wasn't the battery. Didn't cost enough to justify the gasoline to deliver it to the UPS Store for the "free" return-- I just threw it out, keeping the battery.

I like the look of this classic clock for my 67 Mustang that doesn't have the factory clock but I don't like I'm assuming it's disposable because I don't see anywhere you can open it to replace the battery,what a waste of a well made clock and it came to me already on which means it probably won't last long.

Got a bad one

The clock is the prefect size for where I wanted to place it, was easy to set. This product is advertised as having a luminous dial but in fact the dial is NOT luminous. I bought this clock because during the day I can't see the numbers on the digital clock in the radio. When it gets dark I am unable to see the hands or even the clock. Not as advertised.
