I bought this for my small closet and it works perfectly every time. Comes on instantly, and shuts off 30 seconds later. Recharging is quick and easy, and removing this from its magnetic mount couldn't be more simple. Definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs a little extra light.

They hang with magnet and keep falling. They also don’t stay charged long.

I won’t lie. These are pretty great. The light options, the motion option, rechargeable, all great things.I will say BEWARE- the magnets they stick to only work in a certain spot on the strip, so I’d leave them where they actually magnetize strongly, THEN take off the sticker backing and adhere them to the surface you’ll be putting them on. If you have to reposition they’ll bend and not reattach correctly.Next I’ll say I had this for maybe a week and a half before the charge went kaput. They’re only on motion sensors- not like it was on for 12 hours straight- and wouldn’t hold a charge from the same day.I got a replacement because I really do love the thing so I’m holding out hope that the first one just had a dud battery. I’ll come back and update if I face the same problem again.

Poor quality all around, does not stay stuck up with mounting provided. Not to mention you need to charge it every single day. Poor quality, falls from mounting points, takes forever to charge. I would give zero stars if possible.

Motion sensor works well. Easy to operate. Very useful as night light but don’t stay charged for a long time

I ordered these in December for my products display shelf. A month after I got them one of the light strips doesn't stay charged for more than an hour and the red charging light went out on it. The other one stays charged for maybe a day. Too late to send it back. Not sure if they would send a replacement.This is why battery operated stuff is better. If I was able to put triple A or the circle battery in it they would probably work for a month. Now these are just one more thing I have to remember to charge when I get to work. Also the sticky adhesive is no joke. I'm not looking forward to scraping it off the bookshelf. Hopefully it doesn't tear the veneer. Maybe I can heat it with a blow dryer to loosen the adhesive?

I wanted to wait a while to review these so I could comment on battery life, performance over time, etc. I have to say I am more than pleased with them. The primary place I needed them is under cabinets in a corner of my kitchen and in linen closets. They are perfect for both with one caveat - more frequent use obviously means more frequent battery recharge. The kitchen corner is most often activated (motion sensor), so I keep that one plugged in for full charge all the time since it DOES work while charging. When another one dies I swap it out for the one in that spot and put the fully charged one in the other location. Works beautifully! Now how often do I have to do that? For another location in my kitchen that is used often that's about once every other week or so. For the ones in my linen closets that are not as often used it lasts MONTHS. I am thinking of getting a couple more for poorly lit cabinet interiors like under the sink or inside furniture. The light is bright enough to be helpful but is not a task light. Definitely worth the money to me!
